Ca Sa Cristeta de Sescola

The house is a beautiful old Mallorcan house with lots of history and charm. We had a wonderful stay as it is located in the town where our daughter lives. It was larger than we needed but it accepted our little dog which was perfect for us. Very roomy. In the warmer months I am sure the patio will come in handy. It is a luxury to have in Sa Pobla. Isabel is a wonderful host and helped us out with everything we needed. Parking was not an issue as you can find a spot on the street. Very quiet part of town so street noise is not an issue.

The house is an old house with high ceilings, so in the winter you need to layer lots of clothes because it is very cold inside. There are only two wall heaters so the bedrooms are very cold at night. There are only windows in the front of the house and the back so natural light is an issue. For the price we paid, granted we were only two people and it was larger than we needed, we feel the appliances and other fixtures such as lights need to be updated. We found it hard to cook a meal in the oven and the room lighting was sparce. I guess it is a new addition for booking.com, we paid extra for a cleaning fee and for daily use of electricity. Not used to these fees through booking.com.
