The Wein Cottage is dog-friendly and will accept up to two dogs. However, there is a pet fee of $33/dog/night (before tax). Due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you will be bringing more than one dog, so that we can make sure that you are charged the correct amount. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

This is a good location. It is a little off from the main street but still not very far. Love that the master bedroom is somewhat separated. Great hosts and very responsive.

This property is a hidden gem. The exterior is unassuming, but once you step in you'll be amazed at the style and comfort. It is too far from the main drag to be walkable, but we appreciated the quiet and easily accessible neighborhood. Downtown Fredericksburg was right up the street, so we never felt like we were out of the action. The home is well equipped with creature comforts. It has fast wifi, great streaming services, and all the amenities a family needs to stay connected. The backyard is perfect. Our dog loved the space and we enjoyed having morning coffee in the swinging chairs on the back porch. It is difficult to find things to complain about. The air conditioner is sort of loud, so light sleepers shouldn't take the room next to the AC. The master bedroom bed is really firm which required us to switch up sleeping arrangements, but it was a personal preference over an issue with the mattress. Great location, great price, and super comfy. What more do you need?
