Nice comfy beds, great location

The location is ideal for those wanting to make use of the beach, as a family with young children the location is a short walk from the beach, and a short walk from a park which includes a play area for children, and an excellent skate park for older children. A short walk to a small local shop, means once you park up at the start of your holiday there is no need to drive anywhere.

The host allows dogs, which does add to the wear in a property. Don't forget the beach at Hornsea is mostly covered at high tide, while not a real problem, don't forget to check the tides before planning. WiFi good in living room, but patchy towards the rear of the property.

I would suggest tje lounge lacked adequate lighting. We moved two lamps from the spare bedroom, and this made it much cosier. We were only two people using the lounge, and it lacked a single chair. We moved a nice wicker one from the kitchen, wherre it was serving no use, and it again it gave the lounge more character and was more suitable for a larger group. A few more scatter cushions would also add to comfort. Huge blast from air coming up the stairs from the front door hall area. Heating set to 19 degrees but kept going off and default was 15 degrees. The first floor therefore got cold very quickly which necessitated setting the heating higher to recover lost heat. Would suggest just leaving it set to 19 degrees 24/7 during winter. Works out cheaper.
