Booking emailed me 48 hours prior to my trip to Bourgoin cancelling my reservation stating the hotel had made an over booking so could not accommodate me. I immediately went to booking.com to find another room and found the same room type in the same hotel for double the price. I booked it because I needed a hotel and everywhere else was full. A ripoff by the hotel and dishonesty and a lack of transparency by booking.com, either way it has sent me on a search for a booking site which can be relied upon.

Absolutely no redeeming qualities - Avoid
Absolutely nothing
Dirty, extremely basic, not enough pillows for two, only one towel, extremely noisy (both outside the hotel, and inside the hotel throughout the night). Officially one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at.

The room we were given needed some basic maintenance which was not done.
The town.
There was no hot water at all, cold shower not fun. Toilet bowl leaked and the shower support was broken. Very poor quality even for a budget hotel.

The room was very functional and very clean and tidy. A slight issue with a broken shower fixing but other than that everything was excellent.
