The Courthouse (Room #8) is a very large private hotel room with 2 king beds, full sized couch, air conditioning, gas log fireplace, WIFI, satellite television, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a large private bath, all in an old Western town setting.
The Ten Bits Ranch Courthouse (Room #8) is part of an old West town themed setting. There is a Bank, Schoolhouse, Gun Shop, General Store, Steakhouse, Hattery, Gazette, Courthouse, Saloon, Hotel, Barber Shop, Saddle shop and Jail.
There are several shared fire pits on Ten Bits Ranch, including one right outside the Courthouse (Room #8). There is a guest shared Cantina dining area with a full kitchen for your use. You may save a significant amount of time and money while in Big Bend by preparing your own meals in the shared Cantina kitchen.
Built in 2020, the Ten Bits Ranch Courthouse (Room #8) is a highly engineered, high efficiency desert oasis with 14-inch-thick insulated reinforced concrete walls, geothermal heating and cooling in the floor, 8.5 inches of closed cell foam ceiling insulation (like a Yeti cooler) and 100% self-generated solar power. The Courthouse (Room #8) is nearly twice the size of a standard hotel room yet due to efficient construction the room uses only one quarter of the electric power of a normal room.

The location was amazing! Awesome for star viewing. We were in cabin #8 so that spot was even better to sit and view. The only thing that happened was we had left to go to dinner, came back and someone had actually driven there truck and parked it right next to our window on the side and had already made a fire in the pit that was next to our porch. He offered to move over once we were there but he already had a fire going so we said it’s ok. For one there was no way to drive back there unless he moved rocks to drive and then he told us he liked that ideal spot? So curious is there a designated spot for each cabin or is it a free choice of any?
One other thing a hair dryer in room would be awesome! Otherwise we had a wonderful visit.

The desert surroundings are a definite plus. The firepit on the edge of the gully became our outdoor living room. More walking trails (blazed with white rocks) in the desert would be good! more stuff to do like the Apache Cave Trail.

We like our stay, unique i like the old west style, clean room, amenities included are water in side the room, coffee, tv , ac.
The place is awsome in terms of the setting.
