Sardinia Gold Luxury Apartment

The property was in a quiet complex in a residential area, so ideal for sleeping at night. It was spotless & had everything we needed for our week’s break. It was only a 5 minute stroll to the town, so perfect for a relaxing night out. 2 great beaches within 5 minutes of the property, both with a little bar/ restaurant for a good day at the beach.

Nothing. The property was perfect for us: 2 adults & 2 kids in their 20’s.

The apartment was lovely. I wish I can take it with me across the further travel in Sardinia, as it sets high standards. We sincerely enjoyed everything: - location is convenient to get to a beautiful beach, port with ferry and the city center; - fully equipped house with thoughtful design(from the general look to tiny details like a tableware); a lot of equipment available to cook and to clean - practically all you might think of, including beach bags and towels specious swimming pool wonderful; -hosts - who were easy to connect. - Parking garage available, but as we drove a lot we parked easily in the street/area next to entrance. We were with 4 adults - the shared space gave us good opportunity to cook together and share meals, while private bedrooms with own bathrooms gave enough privacy. All in all super happy!

For us it worked perfectly. Palau itself is a smaller location, but property worked really well

Absolutely perfect! Short walk into town, the pool was amazing, and had two lovely seating areas, one outside the pool and one at the front! Couldn’t fault it. We absolutely loved it!

Swimming hats was a bit odd!

We really liked the apartment — it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable week in northern Sardinia. The décor was perfect, and the location made it incredibly easy to reach all the beaches and islands we wanted to explore. As a base for a family holiday, it worked really well.

Unfortunately, the communication with both the host and the service staff was slow and often confusing. One example: we were told the rubbish would be emptied daily. It was only when I asked where to take it myself, I was shown the bins - being further reassured they would collect them. Later, when the communal rubbish was full, we were bluntly told we had to empty it ourselves. The same happened with towels — we were only given a few large towel per person for the whole week, and when we asked about replacements, the reply was simply that we had a washing machine. For nearly £2k for the week, we expected clearer, kinder communication and a bit more service. Arrival was also stressful: despite sharing our arrival time multiple times (including on the day), the onsite contact didn’t answer the phone, and we ended up standing in the apartment complex for half an hour with two young kids. We were also surprised that around 80% of the block is residential. Mostly this was fine, but the family upstairs were extremely noisy late at night, which made it hard for our teen to get to sleep. Finally, the pool rules were very strict — inflatables were not allowed even when quiet (despite the signage suggesting otherwise), and the kids were told they couldn’t even jump in. We stopped using the pool altogether as it just wasn’t fun for them. We were constantly watching the kids - in an empty pool. We felt modest inflatables and some gentle jumping in should have been allowed.
