About this house rental
This charming 1200 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home pays homage to longtime resident Charles Neal, who ran Neal’s Shoe Shop and spent 76 years as a cobbler in Kingsport, TN. The interior of the home has been remodeled with a light airy feel that reflects a modern approach to its more traditional style. The home is situated within a mile of Exit 59 of I-81 to allow easy access to Bristol, Kingsport, and Johnson City.

It is a very nice house. It is located in a very convenient location. It has a screened in back porch which was very nice. The owner we very nice and welcoming. I would recommend this property.

It is a neat, clean, nicely decorated older home.
Some things to note:
- it is an older home, so the floors creak and the doors stick and creak at times as well. This wasn't an issue for us, but if you have light sleepers, it may be something to stay aware of.
- the toilets are small. That sounds strange, but my family is very tall (6' and over), and we had some logistical problems with the lack of leg space in the hall bathroom. No problem with the bathroom in the laundry room.
Some really great things:
- lots of towels and wash cloths
- the property was very clean
- in a safe, quiet neighborhood that has easy access to Kingsport attractions
- the instant hot water was GREAT for us - four back-to-back showers with no issues of running out of hot water
- plenty of space for all of our luggage/supplies. We stayed five nights and had a lot, but there was plenty of room.
- fully stocked kitchen supplies (dishes, utensils, basic spices)
- the enclosed back porch was a fun, great bonus :)
- the large kitchen table was a great location for family dinners and board games

House was clean and cozy. Host was wonderful and responded quickly to messages. Neighborhood is quiet. We would rent from them again.
