The Savannah Beach & Racquet Club is a gated bayfront complex located on the quiet North end of Tybee Island. The Bay is where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. There is a wonderful beach area just steps from the condo. This area of the beach is known to be very family-friendly as it is less crowded. The location is great for dolphin watching, watching large ship containers travel into savannah port. If you enjoying walking along the beach you can walk all the way to the South end of the Island, without leaving the sand. The Beach & Racquet Club is a great alternative to staying in a hotel room on the island. Enjoy more space and amenities like fully equipped kitchens, living room with cable TV, private balconies, tennis courts, and pool. All of the one-bedroom condos share the use of a 14'x20' pool and 10"x10' kiddie pool. A&B building condos have coin-operated laundry on each floor. There is parking for 1 vehicle only, NO GOLF CARTS, TRAILERS, BOATS, JET SKI'S, or OVERSIZE VEHICLES ALLOWED.

I am giving 5 stars for everything because the location was amazing, the property management and maintenance was amazing. They were so responsive when we needed them. The condo was as advertised in size and the pictures did represent well. The only short coming of the condo was the lack of bedding and quality of bedding. I am thankful that I brought extra stuff as I always do when traveling. There were no blankets for my son to use on the bunks, but I had it handled. There was also not adequate bedding for the queen bed either. The condo also really needs a redo on the decor. But these things are not the property mangers fault, but the responsibility of the owner and a reflection of their care. We will for sure stay with this property managemt group again as we are planning to return. 5 stars again for location and management.

We enjoyed our stay. It's nice and peaceful on the north side of the island. Clean place.

The unit was great as far as expectations goes, we were able to cook and clean with all the supplied item's. Walking to the sand was 45 seconds from the room door.
