I liked everything.

Very well presented clean and comfortable. The extra touches of the complimentary bubbly and mince pies lovely. The Christmas tree and other festive decor was exceptional.
No hob the hot plate a challenge for putting a meal together for four and no instructions on how to use. The wood fired hot tub not used as it was took too long to prepare. No instructions on how to segregate waste and where to dispose of it until leaving, then received an email that included orders to empty hot tub!! Sometimes cold until heating came on could do with a curtain across doors to make it warmer.

The property was clean and tidy and was well decorated. It gave a lovely vibe and we loved the hot tub - although we over heated it the first night as we weren’t sure how much wood to use.
It was perfect for two couples with all of the appliances you would need.
It was quite expensive and there was a bbq with no coal/fuel provided so I had to go back out to get that.

Great stay, great location, beach is 5 minute walk if that. Hot tub got a little getting used to but one i knew what I was doing and how to actually heat the tub it was very nice stayed hot all week just had to add a few logs a day which wasn't bad. Kitchen had most things you need to live i mean you can cook your meals on a little stove or air fryer which wasn't bad. Pub was 10 minute walk for 3 min drive they did good food also.
Hope to stay again.

was near a nice beach
Small property, no storage room in kitchen or bedrooms but a basic clothes rail.
No wifi which is mentioned but there is no mobile signal either/ Updated 8/7 it turns out there is wifi in the cabin we were miss-led because the pdf sent out the day before arrival clearly stated there was no wifi at the accommodation it may well be worth updating your pdf instructions ? . The log burning hottub takes several hours to heat up and then you are unable to control temperature, outside of tub gets really hot so we did not use it as we were worried about our dog getting to near/ Updated 8th July, the hot tub comments are not a complaint as we were aware it was a log burning tub, again you receive a video tuition from the owner who states the time issue to get the water warm and the issue with the tub surroundings getting hot, due to this we chose not to use it for the safety of our dog, we have never used or booked a log burning tub before and have learnt we will not book one again in future, I do not dispute some people may find the log burning tub as not an issue, but for us we want to come back from a long walk and climb in not having to be concerned for the safety of our dog or setting a fire and wait 2-3 hours to do so as you can with a traditional hot tub, I think its only fair on the guests to be aware of the extra commitments/ cautions required to book a log burning tub. Worse was location it seem to be placed on a wasteland, fully visible from all windows on oneside which have no blinds to protect your privacy one of which is the shower room ! The other side is penned in with a 8ft green wire fence, I have attached images as the booking.com images are misleading. We left after 2 days, contacted the owner with our concerns and requested a partial refund under the circumstances but got no joy. Personally I feel there are much better accommodations nearby for the price of this one.

Cabin was very clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The lodge has a gated garden which is perfect to keep children/dog in one area without worrying of them escaping. There is so much to do/see in the local area, beach is a 5 minute walk and Portmerrion a 10 minute drive. Neighbours on lane very welcoming and assisted us with getting the hot tub started. Lovely place and would definitely return x
Hot tub takes hours to get warm, which is frustrating. I would recommend the host to at least get the fire started for guests upon their arrival. Check out 10am, consider 10.30am-11am. Although the cost of buying wood was not a issue the practical side of it is. A small shed to the side of the property equipped with wood for guests would be a good touch.

The property is charming, set in a lovely location, close to the beach and town. The property itself has everything you need and the hot tub is perfect to relax in after a day exploring.
Honestly could not fault anything at all.

Lovely, modern decor throughout with nice quality furniture. Good layout that made use of the space. Spacious outdoor area with lots of seating.
The owners were responsive, informative and helpful. Parking right outside the property which felt secure. Easy to get to and in a good location for driving to nearby towns and tourist destinations.
Short walk to a nice, quiet beach.
The lack of WiFi, although being aware of that, there was no data signal from our phone carriers (3 and O2). This made booking tickets for days out and checking the weather difficult.
The bedrooms only had bedside lamps and would have benefited from overhead lights.

Really cute log cabin in a secluded spot on a private drive off the main road.
The cabin was comfortably fitted out with pretty much everything you could need, although there is no internet access.
The wood fired hot tub is a real bonus and once you get the hang of it, you’ll want to spend your evenings in there!
It would have been great to have had a visitors information pack, giving details about how to light and use the hot tub and where to buy the wood and kindling needed to light and fire it. Also a few instructions and warnings would be helpful (such as the hot tub can quickly get too hot and what to do if it does) and maybe a floating pool thermometer.
Also because there is no internet and mobile signals are a bit sketchy, having info on where to perhaps eat out locally or recommended takeaways would be helpful

Very peaceful and great location near the beach. Anthony was very helpful. Had an amazing time and the hot tub was a great asset, we would definitely visit again.

Perhaps some internet but it wasn't really a problem

Really almost everything was just perfect. What a great place to stay
The bathroom could use a proper lock and the bedroom could do with a brighter light. Minor gripes really.

Hot tub took a long time to heat up and the bed was very hard

Gorgeous wood cabin, really well proportioned inside with comfortable furniture.
outside space was equally lovely though we didn’t manage to eat outside (January in Wales) there was a large table to dine.
The bed was comfortable and the shower hot, also the kitchen had everything you needed including glasses, plates etc, though make sure to bring your own tea/coffee.
Heating was great throughout also and Anthony had kindly popped the heating on for us so it was toasty when we arrived.
The hot tube once heated was lovely and clean and plenty of places nearby to purchase the required items (logs, kindling, firelighters)
The location was fantastic, Criccieth was only 9 mins or so by car and Abersoch also isn’t so far by car with plenty of lovely places to dine.
Phone reception dependent on your provider, I am on three and had either no reception or one bar. Also this may have been due to the time of year - it was very cold - but the hot tub took over 4 hours to heat.
Both of these things weren’t of course issues or dislikes just something to mention.
Only thing to improve is maybe to add some lights on the gates for nighttime arrivals so it’s easier to find, otherwise it was fantastic.

The location was beautiful, spotlessly clean and so warm inside the cabin given the time of year. Good facilities compact but everything you need provided. Would come back again no question, hosts nothing to much trouble at easily contactable when I needed any help or had any questions

Cabin was clean, cosy and simple. Easy access to walks, beaches and local supermarkets ( Asda about 4 miles to the right and Tesco/Aldi about 8miles to left) cricceth is a mile up the road and handy for bits and bobs too . most places sell log wood so don’t bother using up space in your car. The petrol station in cricceth (5 bags of logs for £20 ) never used a log fired hot tub and was easy to use, same goes with the Ninja grill/fryer/oven/ whatever it was .. definitely buying one of them! any problems ring or text Anthony and he will help you out.
I was going to say my Vodafone service was very intermittent but you know what, it was actually nice having a break from being glued to a phone all weekend. I wouldn’t hesitate to stop again if ever in the area or recommend!
nothing.

Everything - the whole experience was was really relaxing and made a change than a standard hotel room. It had everything to make our stay a nice, welcoming one. 2 x double bedrooms, with bedding and towels, a small kitchenette, although no oven, but it did have a Ninja foodie air fryer system. Do not let this put you off as we used it several times and food cooked amazingly, to the point I'm going to purchase one. A large fridge/freezer. A lounge/seating area and dining area and a shower room. It was very clean and comfortable. It was located in a quiet vicinity, not overlooked by anyone, but not too far away if you wanted to go out for the day to local attractions, although not a lot around within walking distance unfortunately. We visited Caernarfon and the Castle, well worth a visit. Just a little bit of advise, please check on opening times/pre-bookable tickets as could be closed/fully booked. We visited Porthmadog and saw the miniature steam trains which go out daily up to the mountains or the woodlands, but tickets must be pre-booked.
It does have it's own private car space, It has a lovely wood burning hot tub, not your standard inflatable hot tub, which we did use on the first night. However, you do need to take your own wood/logs with you which can be bought from hardware stores, and does use quite a lot to be fair, but it was a nice end to an evening. The owners have also left a variety of board games to use, which was a nice touch. Also dining outside via a BBQ and outside 'Al-fresco' seating area which would be lovely in the summer months. Would recommend this little Gem ......
It's not a negative and nothing towards the owners or the accommodation, and they not be aware of this, but what we did find is if it is windy it can be very noisy throughout the evening & night, especially due to the conkers/acorns dropping from the trees above and bouncing off the wooden roof causing loud banging which was quite loud. This could be a bit frightening especially for younger children . Maybe a netting or something similar could be erected to stop this from happening, which in turn would stop these from potentially blocking the guttering, but this is only a suggestion. This didn't affect our family time away though. Its just an idea going forward, maybe a welcome letter just to advise guests places to visit, etc as some reviews say that the beach is within walking distance, but we couldn't find one unfortunately. or where the local shops are as the internet was very intermittent. just a little thing but again nothing to make our stay any less.

A lovely log cabin in an excellent location to explore the Lyn Peninsula. in 2 days we visited Criccieth, Pwhelli, the local beach twice and Abersoch. The host Anthony was fantastic; extremely responsive to any questions and helpful. Cabin beautifully decorated, spotless and well appointed. The local beach a short easy walk away and is stunning, a lovely sandy quiet beach perfect for kids to play all day on. If you enjoy coastal walks and want a quiet break away from hustle and bustle, then this place is perfect.
Not the fault of the host but 02 mobile coverage was poor, which was hard with a teenager as no wifi but I enjoyed the digital detox!

Lovely lodge. Very clean and cosy. Hosts were helpful and responsive to queries and questions.
Too little room for food prep. Description said sea and mountan views and there weren't any. Location wasn't as nice as expected. Description said there was air con and there wasn't.

Property was in a lovely location, close to the start of the Rhyd Ddu track for Mount Snowdon (20 mins).
set up of the cabin was great, excellent furnishings with a fully fitted kitchen, utensils, cutlery, bedding, board games and even salt and pepper!
The hot tub was easy to use and warmed up pretty quickly.
We only stayed for 2 nights but would love to return to explore the location a bit more.
Nothing negative to add.

The lodge was very cute, clean and well designed! Really cute decor too. Had all the basics needed (apart from a stove but we made do just fine) and enough room for four people and a dog. It was a really perfect little lodge to be honest. The owner was amazingly quick at replies and very helpful!
If I had to say any minor dislikes or feedback, maybe a little more full fence coverage on the side of the property for more privacy (to cover the full fence), and full wood fence coverage facing the parking area/front of the lodge too as it is shared so would be more private in that way. I might also suggest the logs for the hot tub to be included in the price as it's one of the lodges features. On a more minor scale, we had to buy toilet paper and dish soap during our stay as there was not enough and their weren't any extra in the lodge. Paper towels and hand soap for the bathroom would've been nice to have included (first world problems, I know!). However, none of this would be a make or break for us but just some constructive suggestions :)
