The host and location of the place were great. The amenities were a little more standard and bare but I think it’s a fantastic spot for a large group who plans to sleep and not necessarily entertain. Cozy and comfortable.

The kitchen was poorly equipped for cooking. There were no measuring spoons or measuring cups. The plates and cups were poor quality and insufficient. There were no non-breakable cups for kids. There was only one coffee mug in this 5-bedroom house (the coffee cups were small), and maybe 9 mismatched plates. The coffee maker took FOREVER and needs to be replaced. And there is no dishwasher. Highlight: Great 4-slice toaster.The downstairs with 2 bedrooms smelled moldy. The sink in the downstairs bathroom had 2 large holes in it and didn't drain properly. The hot water was scalding--dangerously hot--such that one adult in our party was burned even though she was being cautious.The money for that weekend alone is enough to fix most of the flaws. Time to upgrade.
