"The breakfast was perfect for us but the facilities were there to cook yourself a breakfast if that is what you prefer. The location was perfect for what we required. It was walking distance to shops,..."

The location was great and facilities were awesome! Belinda was so hospitable.
I would recommend booking a room at the back of house as it was near the highway and a little noisy

I stayed here while competing in the South Australian Hillclimb Championship at The Bend. Large comfortable rooms, not too far from the race track, and cheaper than the hotel at the track. The kitchen has everything I need to prepare food so I'm not living on takeout. My room was comfortable and quiet, I got a good sleep, and the place is close to restaurants and shops in Tailem Bend.
The booking.com listing was a bit misleading. I thought my room would have a private kitchen but it's actually a communal kitchen. Also the place is also not staffed, so I was a little worried about security.

Very clean, great facilities and just around the corner from the pub for a good feed.
It’s located just off the highway and traffic noise initially was a worry but slept ok. Owners have done all they can to mitigate the noise with shutters and double glazed windows, if it’s an issue ask for a room off the highway.
