Nestled on top of a mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest, this rustic cabin features the perfect balance between rustic decor and modern luxuries. Enjoy long days hiking the local trails followed by sunset social hours on the second-story screened porch!
The main living room features hardwood floors, a wood-panel vaulted ceiling, a stone gas fireplace, 65inch flat-screen Smart TV, and access to the screened porch.
When it starts to snow, retreat to the man cave to warm up by the gas fireplace. With a shuffleboard table, poker table, roulette, foosball, and dartboard. This room is sure to be the regular hangout spot.
Prepare dinner in the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. With an 8-person table, there’s plenty of space for everyone!

Drive 3 miles to reach downtown Ellijay and browse the local stores or sample the local cuisine at one of the many delicious restaurants. Poole's Bar-B-Q, in particular, is known for their 'fall off the bone tender ribs and delightful pork platters accompanied by tasty sides. Ellijay is also the host of the annual Georgia Apple Festival and offers plenty of ziplining in the summer! Ellijay is also home to an ever-growing number of wineries minutes away!
Blue Ridge is a quick 17-minute drive up highway 76 and is a quaint mountain town known for the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and local breweries. If you're looking for a bite to eat after your hike, Harvest on Main is a fantastic local eatery with contemporary American cuisine! Be sure to grab dessert at Three Sisters Fudge afterward. The town also has a drive-in theater for any movie buffs!
When the weather warms up, there's no better way to beat the heat than tubing in the local rivers. There are multiple rivers around Ellijay, plenty of spots in Blue Ridge, and even more, dispersed throughout the local mountains.
In addition to the local cities surrounding the property, there are a variety of outdoor activities such as canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, and mountain biking throughout the surrounding area. The Ocoee Whitewater Center is a 35-mile drive from the house and quite a thrilling adventure!

Sunset View was amazing and perfect although it was understated in the title. It was gorgeous, warm, and clean. It was not far from town. The town had plenty of local stores to shop in and a variety of hone eateries. Definitely coming back to this town and yes…. Sunset Ridge.

We are very familiar with the Blue Ridge/Ellijay area, and this house was a perfect fit for all 8 of us. The rooms were comfortable, and the cabin was well stocked. Perfect location, easily accessible in non 4x4 vehicles, easy to visit all our local favorite places.

Two moms and some softball players stayed here. We were in town for a tournament. The layout of the basement was perfect for the five teens. The two moms had the whole upstairs. Three bathrooms was essential. We had a complete rainout on one day which pushed the games back a day. The hosts were amazing and easy to work with so we could add on another day. Similarly, before we went, we got the earliest game on day one and also needed an extra night on the front end. Also very cooperative. Our plans changed with little to no time and the hosts were accommodating. We lucked out that the cabin was available. Location was great too. Set back to enjoy some woods but close to 515. We stayed in Coosawatee last year for this same tournament and while not a lot of mileage, there’s so much winding of back roads that it took like 10 min just to get to the main road.
