This is a beautiful, quaint house in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. We received such a warm welcome from Jamie when we arrived. She gave us a quick tour and was so incredibly kind. The entrance to this home is stunning. The staircase is gorgeous. The sitting room is perfect to have a tea, make a bite to eat and read or play games. The bedrooms are very roomy with nice closets to get our things organized. The furniture and bedding is all so beautiful. The bathroom is so spacious and has everything we needed. The waterfall shower was a hit. But the dressing room with the freestanding bathtub was my absolute favorite part. The antique wash table was a work of art by itself. The location is perfect as it’s just down the road from delicious restaurants and shops, the friendship trail, and it’s just a few minute drive to Crystal beach. I was so impressed with The York House from the moment we pulled up till the day we pulled out. It definitely felt like a home away from home. Thank you Jamie and Dave! You are amazing hosts. We are incredibly thankful.

I liked the house and that we were greeted by the proprietor, who was really lovely. I loved the areas in the suite for coffee and the closet in the main bedroom was great.

The pillows were not comfortable and the bed was sinking a bit. I also felt that the 10am checkout was too early to be enjoyable.
