Good location with on street parking outside.
Comfortable beds. Reasonably well equipped. Fixtures and fittings are old but all work and the property has a certain charm because of this
Loved watching the Madeiran wall lizards scurrying about on the walls outside

E' un appartamento completo di tutto quello che serve. Forno, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, piastra di cottura, ferro da stiro, piatti e posate. Tutto efficiente. C'era anche il detersivo per la lavatrice che abbiamo usato due volte per il nostro bucato da hiking e tutto il resto, anche per prepararci per la sistemazione successiva nella quale sapevamo saremmo stati meno forniti. Il proprietario manutiene l'orto dietro la casa che è bellissimo. Se avete bisogno di qualcosa, basta dirglielo e lui passa.
I letti non forse sono comodissimi per i gusti generali, ma a me piace dormire sul duro e sono stato benissimo. Lajes do Pico è ad un paio di chilometri, quindi per andarci (a cena, allo stabilimento balneare) serve l'auto, ma ci vogliono giusto 4 minuti.
