The steep hill - not good for the elderly

The villa is situated quite close to the airport by car and is set in a quiet village in the hills. The property is beautiful, rustic but well maintained and secluded. The communication between the owner and person who helps to organise the property was excellent, any queries or requests were dealt with very promptly. Whilst the villa is situated at the bottom of a steep driveway/road it is possible to park next to the property if you are confident with driving and we found walking up/down no problem. Villa is around 15 minutes from Dubrovnik by car but plenty of Ubers will come and collect/drop off at the village if you haven’t hired one. We hired a car but chose to use Ubers to go to and from Dubrovnik because finding parking is difficult and expensive. Villa has everything you need for a quiet relaxing week near the city. Villa is well positioned for day trips to Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Beautiful views and the owner is great, he made us a fantastic al fresco meal of local meats, seafood and cheese and gave gifts of alcohol, fruit, his own homemade wine, olive oil and red wine vinegar. A perfect place to relax with friends. Lovely pool! Thank you again for everything!

La maison est très bien équipée et très propre! La vue est magnifique! L'environnement est très calme et idéal en terme de localisation, à proximité de Dubrovnik et Cavtat! Les propriétaires sont adorables et serviables. Les voisins sont très chaleureux!

Le parking est difficile mais présent. La côte est raide et passage étroit. Pour conducteur expérimenté. Quelques lampes non fonctionnelles.

The property has lots of original features mixed well with lots of modern features, a lovely pool and air con machines.

The property is close to lots of trees and forest area that brings in loads of insects, but there were lots of supplies for fly sprays and insect repellents at the house.
