This is a lovely historical farmhouse which has been perfectly restored (I think in 2010). It is situated in a very quiet environment where you hear no traffic whatsoever (at most 1 car per day passes the house); you hear only owls, doves, cows and sometimes a chicken or rooster. It has a fantastic large garden for lounging and suitable for many kinds of activities (like pétanque, badminton, football, volleyball, and for the younger children there is a double swing and a slide) and an awesome private pool of 4x8 meters (1m deep at the shallow end and 1.50 at the deep end) that is just perfect for both playing and swimming. Would highly recommend this holiday home to any family with children or teenagers of any age. Our only minor point of critique is that some the beds weren’t very comfortable; the two single beds had quite hard matrasses, but in comparison with all the good points that is really not such a big deal. To whomever reads this and decides to book it: I hope and expect you will love it as much as we did.

De accommodatie voldeed aan alle verwachtingen, zoals voorgesteld op de foto's. Prachtige afgelegen ligging, zwembad is niet te groot maar mooi en verzorgd.

Prachtig uitzicht, zeer rustige locatie. Alles was aanwezig enkel geen centrale verwarming voor koudere dagen. Er is wel een houtkachel voorzien. We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen en konden steeds met onze vragen terecht bij de eigenaar.

Helaas klopten de routebeschrijvingen (en aangegeven posities op Google Maps) niet dus het was even zoeken. Alhoewel niet afgeschermd heeft deze gite door de afgelegen ligging aan een zandweg wel de nodige natuurlijke privacy. Compleet ingericht vakantiehuis met ruime tuin en mooi zwembad. Wel een donkere (en daardoor wat sombere) woonkamer. Irritant veel vliegen. Kan tijdelijk zijn maar kan ook te maken hebben met de aanwezigheid van de koeien aan de andere kant van het tuinhek. Om hier binnen niet veel hinder van te ondervinden moesten ramen en deuren zo veel mogelijk gesloten blijven. Zonder vliegen èn met mooi weer een goede locatie voor een rustige en ontspannen vakantie.
