The Casa d'Artista Plus is an independent two-rooms apartment located on the garden floor in the same House/Studio where the owners live: the artist Mauro Corbani and his wife Laura, psychologist. The House is located in the medieval village of Scarlino, which is on a hill with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Follonica and the Island of Elba. It is a building of historical and artistic importance, decorated both externally and internally with unique and original works of art. Guests have an exclusive entrance through the artistic entrance gate to the sea-view garden of plants and sculptures. The apartment consists of 2 rooms characterized by high ceilings with wooden beams and large old arches. The first room is very large, with a double bed in the sleeping area and a kitchenette with table and chairs in the living area. The second room is special for the presence of an old well and an armchair carved in the rock, it is equipped with 2 armchairs-beds that can serve as a living room or make up 2 single beds or a comfortable double bed (with a single double mattress added). The bathroom is equipped with a shower and bidet. In the garden of the house guests can have meals in an exclusive space organized with a table and benches under an olive tree or relax on deckchairs and sun loungers. You can visit the artist's studios for free and participate in an engraving course at an additional price.
Scarlino is located in the Maremma Toscana, an area rich in history and natural beauty. You can visit beautiful villages and wonderful beaches. There are paths for trekking, mountain bikes or e-bikes.
