About this house rental
Spotless clean 3 bedroom 1.5 bath sleeps 6. A large deck where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. Dock space included. We sit high on the lake so there are a number of steps to get down to the dock - but once your there it’s worth every step!

We booked last minute and were so glad we chose this house. John, the owner, was very quick and easy to communicate with from beginning to end. The house is beautiful, great size for family stays, and in the perfect location. Being right on the lake was so nice and convenient. We had access to fishing poles, kayaks and floats and we used all of them. There’s literally anything you would need and more in the house. Lots of games which our kids loved, nice big TV, comfy beds and couch. Pots, pans, plenty of kitchen ware and supplies. The washer and dryer were also a nice plus to have on vacation. There’s also a grill and a fire pit as well. We forgot to get ketchup one night and John brought some right over from next door so we didn’t have to go back to the store. The walk into the cute little town is about 10 minutes and is a nice easy walk. The Timeless Tavern is a must as well if you stay here. Overall, best place we’ve stayed in around the area and we look forward to coming back again!

We had a wonderful stay on the Sacandaga thanks to a great host and a property that perfectly suited our needs. Everything was exactly as described and John was an attentive host. Plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out and various common areas to come together. The home was immaculate and every detail thought of. We also appreciated that we were in a hamlet that offered shop and eateries. We would certainly stay again!

John, the hhost, has thought of everything. From the hotel quality sheets and towels to the complimentary wine upon arrival, John has gone out of his way to make his family home a warm and welcoming place for families to enjoy their time together. And, the lake is absolutely stunning and the perfect place for visitors of all ages to enjoy themselves swimming, kayaking, or boating. The town, too, is a quaint New York village that offers everything from boutiques to find eateries.
