Casa Bakara

As everyone has said, this is a unique gem, brimming with character. To have the spacious garden and lovely pool all to ourselves was a total luxury - we even had a fruiting walnut tree! Mery, our host, was a total delight, a wonderful woman who was warm, welcoming, helpful, kind and caring. I hurt my back towards the end of the stay and she offered to take me to hospital, gave me medication and heat pads, and checked in on me every day - even messaging me after we'd left to see how I was. The world needs more people like Mery!

Le charme de la maison La jolie petite piscine carrelée La disponibilité et la gentillesse de notre hôte

La difficulté avec la serrure de la porte d’entrée mais la propriétaire doit s’en occuper

The house is in a very convenient location, situated between Vejer de la Frontera and the beautiful beaches. It is also very easy to park right in front of the house. The house and garden are spacious and very pleasant, with a lovely swimming pool and a great BBQ area. You can really tell that the house has been decorated and cared for with a lot of love and attention to detail.

The bedrooms could be made even more comfortable with air conditioning. The house is located next to a busy national road, so there is quite a lot of traffic noise, especially when sleeping with the windows open. There are fans in the bedrooms, which are helpful, but they can also be somewhat noisy.
