Raise Athens Metro Apartments

Excellent location right next to the Dafni metro station. Very spacious apartment with a lovely balcony. Several large supermarkets and cafés are just a short walk away. The shower was modern and very comfortable. The apartment exceeded my expectations, and I would happily stay here again.

What we liked most about the apartment was its excellent location. It is only a two-minute walk from the metro station, making it very convenient for getting around the city. There are also plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants right on the doorstep, so you feel like you’re staying in the heart of a small town centre. The apartment itself had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, and overall it offered very good value for money.

The main issue for us was the noise. Unfortunately, it was much louder than we expected. We even contacted the host to ask whether it would be possible to move to another apartment, but the property was fully booked. We were told that the flats are soundproof, but that was not our experience. Even though the bedrooms do not have direct street-facing windows, we could still clearly hear the heavy traffic and constant car horns from the busy road outside. Another source of noise was the dance studio located on the floor below the apartments. Classes were running until around 11 p.m., so if you are a light sleeper or enjoy an early night, this may not be the best option. Cleanliness was acceptable but could definitely be improved. I would personally rate it around 7 out of 10. We also felt that the supplies provided were insufficient for a week-long stay, as we only received three toilet rolls and one set of towels each. When we asked the cleaning staff for additional towels, they had to get permission from the host before they could provide them. Finally, it is worth noting that there is no cleaning service during longer stays, as the property operates more like an Airbnb apartment. After a week, we had accumulated quite a lot of rubbish, and a mid-stay clean or waste collection would have been appreciated.
