Excellent facilities and comfortable bedrooms close to bars/restaurants and beach. The only downside for us was that we had an evening flight and couldn't leave our luggage after the check out at 11 a.m. Places we have stayed before have allowed this and can be a great plus for guests.

We chose Vilanova because of the easy train access to Barcelona but we fell in love with Vilanova itself. Lovely beaches and old town with a relaxed atmosphere. Just what is needed if you have been sightseeing all day. It seems to have a lot of festivals and things going on during the summer too.The apartment itself is spacious with everything we needed and it is in a great location. We spent early evenings on the balcony taking it easy and watching the world go by before cooking or going out to one of the many restaurants. The owner Sabine is friendly and welcoming. The only small downside was the requirement for a cash deposit in Euros which meant we had a lot of money to exchange on our return to the UK and we lost out on the exchange rates. It would have been nice to stay longer than the week and explore the region a bit more. I guess we will just have to go back for another glorious holiday
