Ocean-Walk Granny's Lane Perranporth

The property is in a quiet lane but only 5 minutes walk to the town and 10 minutes to the beautiful sandy beaches. The house had everything we needed and was very very comfortable. The owner was available on text if we had any issues, which was re-assuring. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything for our stay. Bathrooms were lovely but you must remember to take your own bath towels. Beds were very comfortable in every room. Used the balcony late afternoon for the last of the sun. Washing machine very useful and washing dried quickly on an airer without the need to tumble dry.

Would have liked a small table and chairs in the garden which had the first morning sun.

We were 2 families, 8 in total. One family on the ground floor and the other at the top. The accommodation was great for us, bedrooms, living area and kitchen were perfect. It is well situated to the town and close enough to other towns. We would definitely book again if visiting Cornwall in the future and would not hesitate to recommend to friends.

The house is spotless and very comfortable. Will easily accommodate 6-8 adults. Excellent communications with owners and high spec fittings.

Property was beautiful; clean, comfortable and furnished to a high standard. All bedrooms had an en-suite. Well equipped kitchen and cooking facilities. Very good WiFi connection. Excellent location - walking distance from Perranporth beach and easy travelling distance to other tourist hotspots.

Would have appreciated some more notice that I needed to bring towels for a less than 7 day stay, and a few more washing/dishwasher tablets would have been appreciated!

The house is modern, immaculately clean and the location is fantastic. A wide range of facilities are available in the house, everything we needed and more for a week away. There are designated parking spaces and the house is located in a quiet and safe part of Perranporth. Communication with the hosts is great, very attentive and they answered any questions I had before and during our stay. If travelling to Perranporth in a group again, this will be the first place I look to book.

This is an exceptional new holiday home with amazing facilities, great location, brilliant customer service (for example, getting a blind fixed the same day it broke), excellent communication from the owner and a generally all round great holiday experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It rained .

This is a brand new property that is furnished to a very high standard. It is spacious and very clean.It sleeps eight adults very easily. It is situated within 5 minutes walking distance from the shops and the beach.

The well appointed kitchen just needs one or two little things to help with home cooking

Perfect location within a few minutes walk of the shops & beach, but located in a quiet lane. Brand new property with a minimalistic feel & all done to a very high standard.( We were its first guests) The room arrangement with this three storey apartment worked very well with the spacious living area with large balcony set on the second floor, so two of the bedrooms were set apart from the other two, giving extra privacy for two families. Very smart en suite shower rooms with excellent showers. Also the downstairs en-suite had a bath Lots of instant hot water. The outside water tap & shower by the front door was very useful to wash off sandy feet, as was the large shoe rack for beach shoes storage. Reasonable sized terrace leading off from the kitchen/diner which got the morning sun, while the balcony from the lounge benefitted from the evening sun. Lots of hi-tech equipment with an instruction book. For instance, the Kiosk in the kitchen which gave lots of info on local restaurants & places to visit etc. & had video games with controllers. Easy to use oven & hot plates .Large fridge freezer with cold water dispenser. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots ,pans etc Lots of storage space for food.

As this was a new build & we were the first guests ,we found a few minor things lacking, which can be easily rectified. It is essential to understand that 3 Ocean Walk is the name of the Apartments & not the name of the road. We got a bit lost as Ocean Walk is in Granny's lane. There needed to be more storage in the bedrooms i.e. The twin rooms only had a chest of drawers & no hanging space & the large super king size rooms had no chest of drawers/dressing tables, but had a wardrobe. The only mirrors were in the bathrooms & no full length mirrors anywhere. I also need a mirror next to a plug to dry & style my hair. The downstairs loo had no mirror. There were no hairdryers or an iron & ironing board supplied. There were no egg cups, tea pot or milk jug. More chairs were needed to sit outside. Preferably enough to sit on the balcony & the terrace without having to keep carrying them through the kitchen & lounge. There are only 6 & the apartment accommodates 8 people. Some pictures on the walls would have given it more individuality, as it all looked a bit bare (but that is a matter of taste) Most places I have stayed give you a reasonable supply of loo roll, dishwasher tablets & liquid soap, but fortunately we brought our own, as this was in short supply.
