We loved that the cottage was just out of the village away from the crowds, that we had a patio which had sun all day looking at the amazing view of Malham, the cottage had everything we needed. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and the beds were really comfortable. It was very quiet at night, you could hear a pin drop, so peaceful! We particularly liked the big bedroom with the en-suite inside the room and the lovely big bed. The cottage is a little gem which I have told all my friends about, we would highly recommend it and would definitely go again. Easy access to Malham's Cove and Janet's Foss waterfalls and other lovely walks in a stunning area with amazing views which go on for miles and miles. Two lovely pubs in the village, Listers Arms was the better with a lovely beer garden where you could sit in the sun and soak up the atmoshphere, the food was also delicious and the pub was only a 2 minute walk from the cottage. Everything was perfect for our stay, we didn't want to go home!

Location. Ideal for two couples. Very comfy beds.
Facilities good. View lovely. Local pub great.
Warm property.
General outside appearance look very neglected, garden and roadside especially. Lots of cobwebs inside and dirty in places. Annoying buzzing sound in larger bedroom. No hot water in property on first day-although fixed immediately reported.

Style of the house was lovely and cosy. Walks and attractions in the nearby area we're stunning. The garden is absolutely beautiful and was lovely to explore. The area is a lovely little get away.
We felt the little things were missing that would have made this property perfect. For example, the property had a beautiful log fire that would have been amazing after our walks, but no logs were provided and other small details.
The on suite wet room wasn't fit for purpose as the water ran under the door to the bedroom. We then had to spend time mopping up water with our towels (only one provided per peron, if you required more you have to bring your own) , and our suitcase and slippers got wet due to this inconvenience.
