All round Lovely little cottage

The property itself is beautiful and the location was perfect with beautiful surroundings.
A few logs and lighting fuel would have been nice to have a log fire as it does say in the info about the cottage that there’s a log burner but didn’t mention that no logs were provided. As it was after 5pm when we checked in , cold and wet, and weren’t able to buy logs locally a bit disappointed. ( I will add that the heating was on) .
Also I marked down for cleanliness because on entering the main bedroom there was a horrible smell.
It turned out to be the bedding. All four pillows and the quilt smell dirty and very musty and I had to swop them with the bedding in the smaller bedroom.
Other than that a lovely stay and would use the cottage again
Smelly bedding

Great location, lovely cottage with good showers and a fantastic log burning stove. Good TV and a nice kitchen perfect for feeding a small family. Very clean and tidy. Great for hiking with the boot and utility room. Close to Malham Cove and lots of lovely walking trails.
The underfloor heating system is a little noisy at night but we got used to it fairly quickly. It’s a shame no firewood was supplied for the log burner - even a small bag to get us started would have been nice. We picked some up from the farm shop in Airton which is worth a look.

The location was excellent, out of the way and so peaceful. The wood fire was perfect for a cozy night on the sofa and the underfloor heating was perfect for the morning. The cottage itself was even better than our expectations as it was really beautiful inside and the space had been worked out brilliantly to fit everything you may need. When we booked we received instructions of how to get there and it was a little confused until we got closer but we navigated it quite easily even in the dark. I was a little worried about the parking as it seemed rather close to the road however it was really quiet and we saw a tractor go past with no issue.
I'm not sure if there is an electric box near one of the windows as we couldn't see anything but when we laid in bed there was a loud electrical humming that took a while to block out. I think there are spots in the bedroom that the underfloor heating maybe didn't reach and beside the bed was very cold to get out to.

The location was perfect, the views were perfect. It was a lovely quaint cottage. The living room/kitchen was really spacious. The beds were super comfy. My son wants a new mattress at home now.
I wasn’t given the correct door code in advance. It had been changed and I hadn’t been notified. Not the end of the world but I had to speak to a representative of booking.com to get it sorted.
Only thing wrong with the property was the tiling on the floor in one of the bathrooms could do with looking at. It was a bit loose and wonky.

Excellent location for local amenities and walking.
There was plenty of draw space in the bedrooms but no cupboards. Not a problem for a weekend stay but if staying for longer might be a bit annoying. Overall the plus points out way this very minor point and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. We'll equipped. Lovely little extras. Great pubs in the village. Reccomend Lister Arms for food.
Unfortunately one of the showers wasn't working. We reported it. Certainly didn't spoil the weekend.

Lovely cottage in a fab location. Short walk to the local pub. Lots of amazing walks on your doorstep.
The shower in the ensuite didnt work and was dripping for our entire stay. The floor tiles were all cracked.

Style of the house was lovely and cosy. Walks and attractions in the nearby area we're stunning. The garden is absolutely beautiful and was lovely to explore. The area is a lovely little get away.
We felt the little things were missing that would have made this property perfect. For example, the property had a beautiful log fire that would have been amazing after our walks, but no logs were provided and other small details.
The on suite wet room wasn't fit for purpose as the water ran under the door to the bedroom. We then had to spend time mopping up water with our towels (only one provided per peron, if you required more you have to bring your own) , and our suitcase and slippers got wet due to this inconvenience.

The cottage was very comfortable, within good walking distance of the village. A nice garden to sit in with lovely wild flowers. Overall we were happy with our stay

The cottage was in a lovely location, less than 5 minutes walk to centre of Malham village, but tucked away in a beautifully quiet spot, plus there was a small cafe - Cawden Barn - just around the corner, so not far to walk for breakfast. The garden area was bigger than we expected, although part of the garden does have a steep incline, so some areas are not accessible for everyone. We loved having breakfast in the garden and watching the nesting crows in the barn opposite. The bed was really comfy and we slept very well. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided, which was very nice. Overall we found the cottage to be really nice and we had a lovely relaxing stay.
We did not use the heating, as it was a lovely warm weekend, but we noticed there were no logs provided for the log burner. It should be noted that the hosts only provide one hand towel and one bath towel per person for the duration of the stay. The information book said if you need more, you should provide your own, but we were not told this in advance. The shower in the en-suite was very stiff to turn on/off and continued to drip for some time after use. As we were only one couple, we used the main bathroom for showering after the first night, so it did not impede upon our stay and we did not mention it to the host whilst we were there.

Good position, short walk to village centre and local walks. Parking. Beautifully presented and furnished making the property cosy, with a modern but country feel. Very clean and well equipped. Liked that the bedrooms were either side of the open plan living area giving both couples privacy and our own bathrooms. Plenty of storage. Very good value. We would stay here again and recommend to friends, it was that good!
It was very chilly on arrival, so would have been nice and more welcoming if the heating had been on. Once it warmed up very cosy. No advance warning that logs not supplied for the wood burner, with nowhere in the village to buy logs this was a shame as we would have made more use of the burner. These are not complaints, just observations that could add a nice touch to a lovely accommodation.

the location was perfect, a 5 minute walk in to the village. We spent a very happy week in weather that was better than forecast! Walks from the doorstep. The under floor heating very efficient on the whole
there were a few niggles which we failed to solve, despite the owner's best efforts to help. Underfloor heating not working in the en-suite and a dripping shower. TV was also a problem although that didn't really matter to us

Spectacular views in a fantastic location, just outside main hub of village, so quiet with easy access to walks and pubs. Lovely, cosy cottage that has been beautifully decorated and fitted with attention to detail. Fantastic log burner which heats really quickly, but do bring your own logs. Kindling and firelighters are supplied. Great enclosed garden, comfy bed, and plenty of Yorkshire tea 😃
Being picky, I didn't sleep well as there was a constant hum from the shower room, even though I'd turned off the fan...not sure what it was. I would still stay again though 😃

Great location, comfortable beds and furniture, lovely view
It would have been nice if even just one supply of were logs for the log burner were supplied. It was a snowy weekend for us, there were no logs for the fire and we were unable to travel to get any due to the snow.
