It was beautifully decorated and spacious, both the house and the yard. I particularly enjoyed the pool. It is large enough as well as deep enough to enjoy swimming in it. The backyard also has a beautiful view, especially of the sunset. I liked driving past animals. Great property overall and experience.
I would have like for my room to have an en suite. Having to leave my room to shower and use the bathroom was a little bit of an inconvenience, especially because across our room was another booked room so I couldn’t necessarily walk around freely from my room to our designated shower/bathroom. But this was not too much of an issue overall.

The housekeeping ladies were absolutely exceptional. They made our stay so much more comfortable and easy to navigate our whole stay. Absolutely loved them!
That the prices went up for the game drive while we were there already. No communication was given prior to our arrival. That would have made our stay more enjoyable but we missed out of the game drive due to this sudden price change

The hospitality of Mam'Maggie was great. She handled the room mix-up situation well and we ended up being at ease. The dam view which was the main reason we visited the property, was breathtaking. Seeing Giraffes so up close was also satisfying. We were fortunate enough to go stay at House number 2 due to the room mix-up and there we had peace and quiet.
The room blocking system when booking must be monitored to avoid further confusion for the guests and the hostesses. The house up keep needs to be looked at. There are a few items that where broken, deteriorating and visible water leaks in the presidential unit. A better couch should be considered and the pool was not working even after we reported it to the management who visited the site. We considering coming back with the big family and it would be nice to have all these resolved for a better stay.
