The house is exquisite, I had the master bedroom with a beautiful view of the water, when I'd wake up before 8am, I get to see wildlife outside my windows. The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for a group of 10.
There are a few structural issues with the ceiling in parts of the house but only noticeable when you take a proper look and it doesn't affect anything unless someone is nit picking.
The pool is a little small for a house that accommodates such a big group. It would also be lovely if there was firewood available on the property for the firepit, as the nearest shop is a bit of a drive.

The hospitality of Mam'Maggie was great. She handled the room mix-up situation well and we ended up being at ease. The dam view which was the main reason we visited the property, was breathtaking. Seeing Giraffes so up close was also satisfying. We were fortunate enough to go stay at House number 2 due to the room mix-up and there we had peace and quiet.
The room blocking system when booking must be monitored to avoid further confusion for the guests and the hostesses. The house up keep needs to be looked at. There are a few items that where broken, deteriorating and visible water leaks in the presidential unit. A better couch should be considered and the pool was not working even after we reported it to the management who visited the site. We considering coming back with the big family and it would be nice to have all these resolved for a better stay.
