Seaside home in Kardiani/Giannaki bay - Agnes's Home

beautiful home right on the beach and close to an international beach bar/restaurant and to a well-known Greek restaurant. We loved everything about the house, its simplicity, its cleanliness, the amazing views from both terraces.

AC wasn’t fully working when we were there. It wasn’t really needed other than one windless night.

We loved everything. The house is simple, but is very clean and has everything. It is located just a few steps from the beach, where the sea is clean and shallow. Thanks to Tommi for great support - in this respect we were sure to not encounter any troubles. Tinos is something special on its own, and it is definitely not for everyone. At the first sight it is very dry and almost threatening with its bare rocks and howling winds, but for us it was an adventure, where we could escape the masses and explore a bit on our own.

The beach the house is on is indeed open to cars to drive through it , but we were aware of that, it did not take us by surprise and we were OK with it. However, despite the sign on it and an effort of the (very friendly) locals, some drivers went through it rather fast. So we needed to be super careful while walking around.

I liked the comfortable little house by the sea with perfect peace and quiet around me and only the howling winds and crashing waves to break the silence. Despite the sea being a little rough, I still enjoyed a few good swims. George was very helpful and provided me with useful information on facilities in the area. And typical of Greek hospitality, I have encountered only warm and friendly people everywhere I have been on this island.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was exactly the way I expected.

The location is really nice if you are looking for a quiet spot on the island.

Property had not been properly cleaned. Only one access road that crosses a stream that easily floods over if there are heavy rain (which we were unlucky enough to experience...). Some electricity sockets were loose when we arrived, but the host came by quickly and fixed most of them.
