The house has a covered terrace with stunning views as far as the Alps, Leitheim Castle and the Danube wetlands right on the doorstep, Donauwörth, Romantic Road: via Harburg and Nördlingen to Dinkelsbühl,
30 min. to Augsburg, ideal for hiking, cycling tours, cultural and pleasure holidays, newly renovated house
Unfortunately we have to charge € 10,- per day if you use the heating / air conditioning due to the increased energy costs. There is a flat rate for the hot tub.

The house was lovely and clean and well kitted out. It was not a key safe check in, but had to meet at the property. The owner speaks English and was good with communication, but the lady meeting at the property did not speak English, so make sure you have some way of translating. We had to pay 10 Euro per day for heating/air con and the hot tub was empty. The parking is good and secure. The area was lovely and close to towns and castles to visit. Our stay was very good.

We chose to stay at Pia's beautiful, restful home as we wanted a base to blend exploring the cities of Munich, Nuremburg and Ingolstadt with time in the Bavarian countryside. It was even better than we expected, with loads of space and lovely grounds including a stunning terrace where you could sit out, watch white-tailed eagles and enjoy the tranquil view of the Danube and surrounding countryside. We enjoyed exploring all the nearby towns on the Romantic Road route and visiting local swimming lakes, following Pia's expert local knowledge. Pia offers a personal touch which is rare and really makes you feel welcome. We barbecued most evenings. We arrived in a heatwave and were very happy to take the option of air conditioning upstairs.

Good normal house with modern facilities. Clean and well maintained. Including use of bed linen and towels. Large terrace with beautiful view. Friendly personal check-in/out. Sufficient opportunities for nice interesting trips, but often at some distance 60km-100km.
