How "Turtle Pond" got it’s name:
We name each of our properties based on the character of the property. This property overlooks the pool area and the 3rd hole of the golf course. Just to the right of the pool is a pond that has a resident turtle population, and you can usually see a few turtles sunning themselves on the rocks. So we named the property after our neighbors.

Guests have full access to:
• The entire apartment and its private balcony with ocean, golf and pool views.
• Our two resort-style pools and jacuzzi
• Access to Palmas del Mar Beach.
• Off-street outdoor parking with security.
• Our building has an elevator.
• Flexible check-in any time after 3PM, and check-out by 10AM.
• Keys will be provided on-site. We will supply the lock box code before guest arrival, on day of checkin.
• A house book with local recommendations for dining, sightseeing, and grocery shopping is provided in the property.
Our team is here to ensure you have a wonderful stay!
• Office Team: Available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM.
• Supervisor is on duty daily 9AM to 8PM, for any circumstances that require assistance.
• After 8PM our Night Service deals with any emergencies.
• On weekends our team monitors emails.

Palmas del Mar was exceptional! Palmas Doradas was beautiful! I would stayed there again! I loved it! The host was very helpful and when I needed something was willing to call and speak with me. I would recommend Palmas Doradas to anyone for a pleasant stay. The view is beautiful! I wish I could have stayed longer, I just fell in love with with complex! Loved the security in there as well!

Very nice place excellent view of the ocean. Clise walk to the beach.Property mangers left beach stuff to use.

Turtle Pond apartment offers the best location in the complex, with a spectacular views of the golf course, ocean and situated next to the hotel.
If you don’t have a rental car, I highly recommend renting a golf cart to navigate the entire property and visit the restaurants. Palmas de Mar is a little gem of the southeast coast of the island.
Suggestions for improvement:
1. Provide a video for accessing the unit to open the lockbox prior to arrival.
2. Offer instructions for using the stove.
3. Label the lockbox for units A and B.
4. Be cautious of a leaking window facing the balcony during heavy rain and winds.
5. The property could benefit from a fresh coat of paint.
6. The futon requires cleaning.
Despite these points, Turtle Pond boasts the best location, with a lovely view during the day and stunning moonlight views at night. The private pool is excellent, although more umbrellas are needed for shading. Adjacent to the property, the restaurant Trova in the hotel is fantastic. However, our all time favorite is the Pescadería with an amazing menu featuring fresh local fish and seafood. It requires transportation to reach.

Very nice place to stay but couple of detail to fix and improve. The shower was broken, and the Furnitures and bed in the bedroom are too old and the bed was very noisy. Is good for a couples, have nice view and good facilities around. Location is perfect and safe. Good for the price!!
