Beautiful downstairs apartment with easy access to Franklin Street, our private off street parking and our private courtyard.
The Law has 2 bedrooms, both with sitting rooms.
The apartment has a 1/2 bathroom (sink and toilet, with grab bars)- and a separate shower room (shower stall only, again with grab bars).
The Law Building is on Antiques Row and an easy walk to the river, numerous bars, restaurants and stores.
We are one block from St Mary’s Basilica.
About 2,000 square feet
Check in Mon-Sat if before 5pm is next door at Lower Lodge Antiques, 712 Franklin Street.
After 5pm or on Sundays access is normally via a lock box.

Booked through VRBO, this place exceeded all my expectations and made for an unforgettable getaway. If you’re looking for a blend of historic charm, modern comfort, and Southern hospitality, this is the spot. My partner and I spent a full week here, exploring the area’s rich history and antebellum mansions, and we couldn’t have chosen a better home base. The charm of this place is off the charts. The Law Building itself is a piece of Natchez history, originally a former law office that has been beautifully repurposed into upscale accommodations. Above the Law is the upstairs apartment, and stepping inside feels like entering a time capsule with a contemporary twist. The high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and original architectural details give it that authentic old-world allure, while the tasteful renovations ensure it’s bright, airy, and inviting. My husband and I enjoyed the warmth and gentility of The Law Building during our recent five day visit to Natchez. We loved being surrounded by the books, art, fine furniture and beautiful collections. The private courtyard is a whimsical jewel.The kitchen is fabulous. The Law Building is conveniently located within walking distance of excellent restaurants and historic sites. Mr. Richard and Mrs. Barbara quickly responded to our messages. Check-in and check-out were simple. Parking couldn't have been easier. This property is especially well-suited for folks with joint problems--no steps and grab bars in the bathroom. We highly recommend it!
