Small rooms but excellent location

Room was small and very basic, bathroom even more so, but location is excellent (opposite castle and just a 3 min walk to the centre of the old town) and staff was friendly.

A great night in Annecy

Very central and cozy, the receptionists are very helpful and kind. The chance to park in front at the hotel is rare but we managed, thanks to the hotel, to park out car in the parking spot close by at a very low price! The bed was very comfortable and clean!!

A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location.

A lovely hotel in the old town of Annecy. Walking distance to everything including the train and bus station. The room we had was perfect for our needs. The toilet and shower room were just outside the door to the room. This was not an issue for us, the rooms were private to us and could be locked so that we could leave things in there is we wanted to. There was a sink in the room itself. The water was lovely and hot and everything was clean. There was a large wardrobe and bedside tables, which was plenty of storage. The window looked out over the rooftops of annecy. It was a beautiful view. There were window shutters that could be closed to block out the light. The hotel reception was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The hotel is up a quite steep hill but this wasn’t a problem for us and provided us with the lovely views.

A small, friendly, comfortable hotel in an amazing location

Amazing location, a minute down the hill or steps to old town. Gorgeous views to the Chateau next door, the lake through the trees, mountains and the rooftops of the town. The terrace was lovely to enjoy a coffee and the views. Lovely Alpine feel to the hotel. Friendly, welcoming staff (plus cat and dog to add to the homeliness!) Lovely breakfast.

Value for money, perfect location, clean and cosy

Location excellent for being in old town with stunning streets and surroundings. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was decent value for money compared to a lot of prices you see these days. Decor gave a lovely quaint cottage feel and the place was clean and secure.

One socket next to the bed where the table lamp was plugged in was quite loose and there were no other sockets to use beside the bedside ones and bathroom socket. More would be helpful for charging devices and using hair tools but no other issues at all.

Excellent hotel choice in Annecy.

For €11, the breakfast was a great deal! The staff, at what appears to be a family-run business, was very nice and helpful. Lots of Old World charm. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean and attractive, and the location is in the heart of the Old Town. You can't beat the price/value. Hope to return at some point!

One thing to note is the rather steep uphill walk to the hotel (which is adjacent to the castle). It was definitely a tiny workout; I would not want to make that climb in snow or ice on cobblestone (up or down). In the summer, however, it just gives you an excuse to indulge in one of the ice cream vendors at the foot of the hill!

You feel the country side

Loved the hotel and the owners attentiveness.

Beautiful well kept building on a hill but close to restaurants and shops. Comfortable rooms. The owners were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

It was unseasonably hot during our stay so air conditioning would have helped but normally would not be necessary.

Such a lovely,friendly and quaint hotel in a superb location in the historic quarter away from the busy crowds.Staff were welcoming and helpful.Our triple room was very clean,comfortable and spacious.Breakfast was also good and it was a bonus being able to sit on the terrace in the sunshine.A really great stay-thank you!

Friendly, welcoming, small, quiet hotel between the castle and old town Annecy. Mid size room, generous for 1 with small but functioning Bathroom. Really comfortable bed. Good quality breakfast.

What's there not to like? From the hotel being at the top of a hill (wear comfy shoes), to the owners, the dog greeting when you arrive - it was all just perfect. Such a beautiful spot.

The location is just great! Right inside the old city. The room is nicely decorated, very clean, functional, and lining is very comfortable.

The room is very small, the bad is very small.There is no possibility to place equipment for the shower and there is no place to hang a hand towel

Good short stay.

Good selection at breakfast. Clean, comfortable room and really great staff. Perfectly located to walk into the old city or to the lake.

Parking is the compromise. There's basically none at the hotel, so the underground around 150 m away is the best option. You can get a discount ticket when checking in. We had bikes, which the hotel stored in their garage.

Perfect place to stay in Annecy

It was a wonderful location close to all the historic buildings shops and restaurants but peaceful and tranquil at the same time.A beautiful terrace to have breakfast in the morning overlooking the town.A leisurely walk to the Lake where you could be amongst the hustle and bustle

Well Google said a 10 min walk from the station but not when you are hauling your luggage up the very steep hills more like 45mins!! 10 mins coming down 🤗

Charming small room; nice breakfast.

Short walk down the lane to the center of all the action/restaurants and shops. Lake is a short 5 minute walk, and a lakeside walking trail to neighboring town of Sevrier was wonderful to get away from the crowds.

Walking with luggage from train station is only about 10 minutes, but google maps didn't walk us to the door. Location is through a main restaurant/shopping cobble stone pedestrian street, then right uphill off a side street. Vendors were always ready to help guide us, but it's a bit difficult to find.
