We couldn't stay longer

I was really excited to stay at this hotel and had been looking forward to the trip. Overall, there were definitely some positives, but a few things left me scratching my head. First, the valet fee is steep. Paying $48 per day for valet is hard to justify. When we arrived, my husband and I stood by our vehicle waiting for assistance while two valet attendants stood nearby. No one approached us or offered a luggage cart until my husband walked over and asked if they were the valet attendants. Their response was, “Yes, how can we help?” A good start would have been proactively assisting arriving guests, especially considering the daily fee being charged. That said, once we got through check-in, the valet service itself was efficient and we never had any issues getting our vehicle. The hotel has several strong points. The breakfast was hot, fresh, and enjoyable. The gym was clean and well-equipped with plenty of machines. The views were beautiful, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. One other issue was the room setup. Our reservation was for two guests, yet the room only had three towels and three pillows. It wasn’t a major problem, but it felt like an odd oversight and gave the impression that room preparation could be improved. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning. However, the valet fee is excessive and would make me think twice before booking again.

$42 a day for valet is outrageous.

In general, the property is good, and it has a nice location. You have a good manager in Veronica who tried to meet expectations despite the noise in the next room.

Noice in the next room after 11 pm, 12 pm , etc...Andrew, the daytime manager, was very dismissive of my situation and basically told me I had to deal with it, and eventually offered a room move once I asked for the options. Note, I had to prompt him. Also the 2nd floor during all hours of the day is loud and the staff does not take note that guests are either there to work or on vacation. They should be generically more conscious about their role in hospitality.
