About this house rental
The executive house provides many opportunities to play our in forest Pickleball court, the NEK being settled on 35 acres and attached to 2,000 acres of Darling Hill state forest, along with direct access to Burke Mountain Red Trail. It is a 7 minute drive to Burke Mountain or hike to the Shelburne lift in 20 min. Skin up Burke from the property, snowmobile out of the driveway pedal onto the Kingdom Trails....endless experiences await you. There are snowshoes for your leisure trek through the acres of woods. Or utilize your own equipment, safely stored in the ample size garage, and xc-ski the exclusive ski/snowshoe touring trails on site. Enjoy the peaceful pond and acreage on foot. Play all day the entertain with your close friends in style with high end amenities. Listen to your favorite tunes on the Sonos Sound System and challenge your kin to a game of darts, ping pong or any one of the family games. For high entertainment value use the Karaoke Machine and see who is little 'pitchy' while the fire blazes in the fireplace, sure to stay crackling with the ample supply of dried kiln wood at your disposal.
Meal prep is no longer a chore when you cook in style. Cook up some fresh farm eggs or prepare your favorite cut of beef from the Organic farm just down the road.
When it is time to gather for a meal enjoy the spread you created at either the 10 person formal dining table or the 8 person table off the kitchen. In the summer eat outside on the deck or enjoy your favorite beverage on one of the decks taking in all the views with no neighbors in site...or gather around the outdoor fire pit.

The house and surrounding property are simply beautiful. The hosts are responsive and friendly to deal with. The 1 thing missing is a coffee maker but there are several alternative methods available that made the process fun. All in all a fantastic place with beautiful surroundings and trails to explore.

We loved our stay last year so much we celebrated Christmas and New Years family retreat again this year! All kind words previously mentioned still apply. Our host has created a wonderful home away from home, fully equipped and off the grid to boot! It doesn’t get any better than this…if you know you know. Many thanks and hope to stay again soon.

Our group had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the beautiful home, we extended our stay. The owner was so helpful and very responsive. The property was so quiet and beautiful, close to town and mountain we loved having trails right outside our door. The fireplace and floors kept the home so warm and cozy. We hope to visit again soon!

This house is nice without being fussy, comfortable, and clean. The heated floors and efficient fireplace kept it warm always. Beds were super cozy and all appliances worked great. Trails right outside the back door were great for us, and it was peaceful and quiet at night. We had a lot of snow while there and needed to clear off solar panels. We also got stuck on the road leading to the house and would recommend AWD in winter for this property. Owner is available and very accommodating. Would recommend a binder in the house with check-out instructions and any other tidbits the owner would like to share with guests, as well as window treatments for bedrooms for those who are able to sleep in!
