LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! This South Gulf Cove home has been professionally managed and is located in Port Charlotte, FLORIDA. This is a waterway property development with access to the Gul of Mexico! South Gulf Cove is known as a boating community with many waterway canals. The widest canal is called the Zephyr. Our home is located on this canal with an awesome view of Zephyr and another intersecting canal as well. The views are breathtaking! Beautiful Sunsets and Sunrises. Lots of boat traffic to enjoy while you spend time barbequing, lounging in chaises, fishing off the private dock or swimming in the newly refinished 2021 heated pool. If you have a boat, you are welcome to bring it along too. There is a bridge to go under so some height restrictions do apply. The home itself has been updated and features a new living room with furnishings and a NEW 65 inch TV with many Satellite channels, high speed internet, kitchen with water views, range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, disposal and plenty of counter space topped with Corian. Kitchen also features a breakfast with bar stools with matching dinette table and chairs for lots of seating. Our guests can also enjoy a separate indoor dining and sitting area overlooking the lanai-pool area as well with a water view. Entering the lanai, presents an outdoor dining area and partial outdoor kitchen with Webber gas grill. The lanai is fully screened with a full size in ground pool just refinished in 2021. There is a child fence available to divide the space. Four deck lounges insure comfort as you sunbathe. This home features a master bedroom suite which includes a Roman tiled shower and double sink vanity with make-up area in the center. This master suite features a King size bed, walk-in closet and double doors with another door direct to lanai. One bedroom features a Queen size bed and the other two bedrooms feature two Twin beds each. A separate utility laundry room is available and an attached two car garage with garage door opener for our guests cars or rental car. Englewood beaches are less than 30 minutes away. Nearby golfing is available. South Gulf Cove is such a wonderful part of Port Charlotte and SW Florida. We hope you will love and enjoy this place as much as we do! This was my 14th year of taking my kids and grandkids on vacation through VRBO. At the end of vacation we always vote on next years spot. This was the first time the kids want to return to the same property. What can I say about this beautiful home, quality, comfort, great fishing, awesome pool, close to beaches, etc…. We will be staying here again next year.

We stayed at this property for 2 weeks. It was so great for our 2 families with children. We loved the pool! I think it was the best feature of this property! We also enjoyed the canal. Our boys were fishing all the time! The view from the canal was amazing ! We absolutely loved it! The bedrooms and beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed: I would love to rent this house again.

When we arrived the pool was hot-we assumed it was due to weather. I had apparently paid for a heated pool. The property manager says VRBO charges everyone so he had to turn it on. Pool was cloudy. We had a few days we could not use the pool due to Chemicals 3 to be exact and several trips from the pool man with no refund. The owner did refund our money for heating the pool. On departure we cleaned the home very well. Very little for the cleaning we paid for. On departure I received an email from. The property manager telling me I was being charged to remove garbage to another site as I put garbage in the wrong can. There are 3 cans 2 of them for trash pick up. One apparently for outside purposes. Nothing states garbage limits I was told if I recycled correctly. I would not have had this problem . No where is there anything related to how garbage is to be disposed or recycled or the amount you are allowed to have and you are required to dispose of on your own on departure. It only tells you Monday is garbage day.
