Acropolis stay Apartment

We had a great stay at the apartment. The location of the apartment is perfect. We had an easy walk to all the top spots in Athens and we're surrounded by great restaurants and coffee shops. Our host Kostis was also fabulous. He was helpful and attentive, and responded very quickly to any communications. The only thing I wish it had was a better outdoor space. There is a small balcony, but it is not really for sitting and the front windows are basement so you can't pull the shades This was not a big deal to us as we were out side enjoying the sides of Athens all day. Overall, the apartment is comfortable and very clean. It was perfect for my family of four.

We had planned to stay in a hotel in the Plaka but decided last minute to look for an apartment to have laundry and more space for our teens. This unit is new to the collection of the manager with no reviews, so it was a leap of faith, and we are SO glad we did. RENT HERE! It was perfect. LOCATION: This location is in a perfect spot for tourists. It is on a quiet block with a hotel, but it is RIGHT next to the new Acropolis Museum and you can see the Acropolis from the front door. Within steps are great small and big restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores. The areas feels safe, lively (but quiet indoors), and convenient. It is also right next to the West entrance to the Acropolis which has shorter lines. THE UNIT: This too was perfect for us. It has 2 bedrooms, plus the living areas closes off to make a 3rd sleeping areas with 2 large futons. The space is efficient (small rooms), but exactly what we needed to each get a little space on our vacation. The bathroom is small, but modern. And there is an extra room with a toilet/sink. The washing machine/dryer, and he also provided a drying rack for the balcony. Tap water was great, but the manager also provided bottled water. Lots of little touches like maps, tour books, shampoo/soap, slippers, nespresso, fast wifi, easy/clear check-out instructions, and more. Clean. Comfortable beds/linens.The owner was extremely easy to reach and setup airport transfers. Thank you for having us.
