Very authentic and charming French house – highly recommended

We stayed here overnight on our way to Belgium, and it was an excellent choice. This is a very authentic French house, full of charm and character. The communication with Emmanuellal is excellent. Upon arrival, the pellet stove was already lit, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The homemade food she had freshly prepared was waiting for us in the fridge, along with a good selection of drinks. The kitchen is very well equipped – everything you might need is available. There is also a lovely garden where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal, with easy access to the motorway, yet very quiet. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Quiet, relaxing holiday.

Lovely, traditional style French cottage. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, even bathrobes! Our hosts were welcoming, they had left fresh eggs (from their own chickens), selection of wine and other bits and pieces for us. Including fresh strawberries that we could pick ourselves from their garden. We ordered breakfast delivery, which was worth the cost, lots of quality produce and home made preserves.

Nothing! Lovely little place in great area. Enjoyed exploring Langres, surrounding little villages and lakes.

It’s a delightful converted French farm buildings, completely refurbished. Close to the motorway it is idea for a stop

Stairs to bedrooms are steep and the loo is only on ground floor.

Lovely traditional property, with an interior being a pleasant mix of period and modern. Ideal stopping place on journey to Italy, that isn’t a corporate hotel. Dog friendly. Host customer care.

you have to walk through the second bedroom to go downstairs to the toilet so only for families and best friends really

Everything. Looking at the tiny facade, opening the solid door and - wow - feeling like home. Entering the house and discovering a very lovely environment. Many but not much decoration with a tangible feeling of the history of the house. We all loved it.

Lovely 2 bedroom property with kitchen and living room. clean, well furnished. Madame was charming and provided an excellent breakfast (extra charge). Very good value for money. will stay again.

Charming & we loved it.

Emmmanuelle was lovely & had thought of everything. She closed the blinds to keep the house cool before we arrived. We loved the extra touches such as fresh flowers. The breakfast was fabulous.

Pleasant

The concept of the "supermarket" in the house. The availability of extra blankets. The interior design of the house.

No warm water on arrival. Had to wait to the next day to take a shower. No compensation. Hardly any phone reception and the wifi password is written by hand and impossible to decipher. Host doesn't speak English so without google translate, communication is difficult. We spent the first hour after arrival figuring out how to get warm water and communications because the host was not at the site. Contactless (covid proof) arrival is a nice concept, but not when the facilities haven't been double checked before the guest's arrival. The sofa bed is quite lumpy.

Een hele fijne schone en authentieke locatie met heerlijk avondeten en ontbijt

Ze heeft ook voor ons avondeten in de koelkast gezet toen we na een lange autoreis aankwamen. Dit was heel erg lekker gemaakt en uit eigen moestuin. Ze hebben ook een heerlijk ontbijt voor ons geregeld, zodat we snel weer op reis konden. Het was geweldig!

Danke für die tolle Unterkunft. Das Häuschen mit Garten ist toll, die Gastgeberin sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben Abendessen und Frühstück mit gebucht, beides zu empfehlen. Die Gegend hat einige schöne Spots, auch für die Familie, wie Badeseen.

Superstop

Ruim huis, zeker voor een overnachting. Was superschoon. Ook fijn dat er een tuin was met vrij zicht en dat er koud drinken in de koelkast lag (tegen betaling, en redelijk). Verder hadden we een crêpe party geboekt, wat de kinderen fantastisch vonden. We hadden best veel beslag en hebben het opgebakken voor de lunch onderweg de volgende dag.

Leuk oud Frans huis, alles aanwezig, zeer goed aan te rijden vanaf de snelweg. Hebben de gastvrouw niet ontmoet, maar toch was ontvangst zeer gastvrij. Heerlijk huisgemaakt, uitgebreid diner stond klaar in de koelkast
