You can hear the waves rustle from earthquest lodge. Psychologically the beach predomonates the vibe on the main street street like a big blue sparkling ocean. It feels like you are on the water even before you walk down to the beach. No other town has this same kind of oceanic ambience on its Main Street like Port Burwell

2 rooms with ensuite bathrooms.
Very clean. Larger room had fridge; small length of kitchen cabinet with sink. Glad for toaster, kettle - Note: No microwave. We ate at restaurants close by. Coffee maker was nice .. as well as Tim Hortons coffee, granola bars and several cans of soft drinks in a welcome basket.
Highly satisfactory accommodation.
A microwave would have made something like lasagna a possibility. Microwave popcorn for a snack.
Restaurants choices on the menu nearby were mostly burgers, wings, fish & chips.
There is a great ice cream vendor across the street.

The fact that it was within walking distance to Port Burwell beach
The shirtless, hairy guy camping out on the front porch who turned out to be the receptionist/innkeeper. He was helpful but almost turned me away because he couldn’t find my reservation on his laptop and didn’t offer a compensation either. I’m glad I persisted to see the rooms that were still available. Also sharing the bathroom and using the shower after a long term tenant was really gross. No AC but at least there was a box window fan.
