Welcome to our cottage on Highland Lake, a 445-acre lake located in Winsted (Winchester), nestled in the rolling hills of Northwestern Connecticut.
This 2-bedroom, year-round cottage features living room, two bedrooms- each with flat screen TV, bathroom, washer/dryer, and a country eat-in kitchen. Lakefront home with dock. Home has central A/C and heat for your climate control preference!
Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the boats and wildlife from the screened-in porch!
For outdoor entertaining, there is a Weber gas grill, beverage cooler, picnic table, lounge chairs, firepit, corn hole, badminton and walkout basement with summer kitchen, basement bath, and washer/dryer. New patio and driveway in 2024.
We allow early check-in at 11 a.m.

There are two single-user kayaks available for guests.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful lakeside property! The home was spotless and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout that made our stay extra comfortable. Situated on a beautiful lake facing the sunset. Screened in porch made it easy to enjoy the view of the lake. The place was clean and cozy.
