Beautiful estate tucked away in the Friesland countryside. Sandra and Stephan are friendly welcoming hosts and the place has a lovely communal feel. Breakfast is taken around a long communal table and includes fruit from the garden, eggs from the resident chickens, local cheeses, and homemade jams. We stayed in the main house with the shared kitchen which was very well equipped, clean and spacious. The room was simple but very comfortable with a nice modern bathroom. The biggest selling point is the location, the peace and quiet, and the amazing night sky in this “dark sky park” area.
No complaints whatsoever. :) A charging station for the electric car would have made it even more perfect - but there are plenty in the general area so it wasn’t a problem.

Het bed was gigantisch... het lag fantastisch. Het is er mooi donker en muisstil savonds. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk, makkelijk toegankelijk. Gezellig.
De kamer werd niet warm, maar kan goed zijn dat wij wat fout deden.

Supermooie kamer. Heel goed bed. De omgeving is top als je van ruimte en rust houdt. Midden in de natuur Ik ben er heerlijk bijgetankt. Het ontbijt was heel lekker en gezellig! Hele fijne mensen!
