The stairs I’m fat lol but nothing was bad everything was just absolutely perfect in every way. Will definitely return in the future at various times of the year

If you're looking for a nice couples retreat for a weekend this is it.

We loved the place. Quiet, cozy, peaceful. The cabin was built in the 1800's. Although there were updates made to make it compliant for a B&B they tried and keep the cabin in touch with its roots. Our room was cute. The furnishings in the cabin are mostly antiques. Added a layer of charm to the place. We had a small table and chairs on the porch in front of our room to sit in. A hammock by the river, which we took advantage of a couple of times. The fire pit is nice as well and we sat around it one night. Easy access to the river where you can wade or bring a chair to sit. There is no TV but we found that to be a bonus. There is wifi so we just streamed music and enjoyed our time together.

Disappointed and still suffering from my allergic reaction.

When we first got to the property we noticed that “Wendy” is watching. We called she knew exactly what vehicle we were driving. Told us where to park, and told me to go to the door before she would give me the code to get in our door. We were told not to leave the door open because it would let a “swarm of mosquitos in”. We were then told to use our quiet voices after 9:00pm. She treated us as though we were 5 years old. I was allergic to something in the room. I am not sure if it was cleaning agents or what exactly but my throat immediacy became hoarse and my eyes swelled up. We contacted Wendy and booking.com to see if we could pay for the first night and cancel the remaining stay and receive our money back to find somewhere else to stay . Keep in mind this was the week of the fourth so finding somewhere else to stay was going to be hard anyways. Wendy refused to refund any money so we had to lose $700 and find somewhere else to go. It was very disappointing. I do not recommend this place. It’s like a prison and Wendy is watching at all times, don’t waste your money.

The river was beautiful and the room was clean. Other than that not remarkable.

Breakfast was not included

Too much noise from the room above. Loud refrigerator. No t.v. Our room was the first room on the deck so everyone in our building had to go past us, so relaxing on the deck wasn't an option. The pub that was featured wasn't opened during our stay. Not many dining options in the area.
