There was a considerable amount of dust underneath the bed. Lastly, there was decent amount of bugs and cobwebs on both porches that could have been kept up more.

The decor was beautiful. It had new shiny wooden floors, paneling and even copper tiles behind the sink. The back porch was very large and had a good table and chairs. It was pleasant to sit there and look out over the stream that ran behind the back of the building. There were plenty of hooks in the bathroom for towels, robes, and I could hang my cosmetic case from one hook to use my toiletries (since there was no room in the sink area).

The way the room set up was inconvenient. I'm 5'2" and my feet touched the railing at the end of the bed. The bed itself was right at the front door, and the front door was a glass French door so I was really uncomfortable about safety. I wasn't sure the blinds would really conceal me from anyone standing at the front door. If anyone broke in, they would be right at the bed so I would have no time to move/escape. The sofa faced the bathroom (with a lovely view of the toilet) and had no coffee table. The table in the kitchen area was a really tall, small round one with two high stools so it was unusable for me since I have balance issues. The kitchen only had a microwave and very tiny refrigerator. There was no way to cook anything except using the microwave or the charcoal grill outside. I couldn't even fry eggs or toast some bread for breakfast. There was no light beside or near the bed so unless I read my Kindle, I couldn't read in bed. The lighting in general was inadequate. The TV and its components were on the wall next to the front door so there was no way to watch it. The sofa was too far away and faced the bathroom. The bed faced the kitchen. I was tempted to rearrange the furniture and push the bed to the back of the room where the sofa was located and move the sofa to the area where the bed was located and turn it to face the TV. That way, someone could have watched TV and if an intruder broke in, you'd have a few seconds before they reached the bed. There was no coffee table either in front of the sofa. The only "work surface" was a small square nightstand. There was no closet. There was a wardrobe unit but one of the sides was taken up with extra pillows and sheets so there was just a narrow side for hanging clothing. I couldn't believe the number/amount of cleaning supplies taking up space in the bathroom and in the wardrobe. But I guess they really take cleaning seriously.
