About this apartment rental
Enjoy the incredible panoramic ocean views from this beach front condo. Bright and sunny, this 3 bedroom condominium is on the 7th floor of a beachfront building in Sea Colony. Sea Colony is the premier family beach and tennis resort community located in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
We purchased this condo in 2019 and started listing it on VRBO in 2021. We manage this ourselves and not through a large management company.
This is in the Island House building and offers stunning, unobstructed views of the ocean and beach from the living room and master bedroom. This is the last building in the complex and has the least crowded beach area. The 1/2 mile long private beach and multiple swimming pools are steps away from the elevator.
There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that can accommodate up to 6 guests. In 2022, we replaced all of the carpeting with luxury vinyl plank flooring, removed the wallpaper and painted the master bedroom and installed new closet doors in each bedroom.
The Master bedroom has a new king size bed and furniture which was purchased in 2020, flatscreen smart TV with xfinity, and private bathroom with tub and shower. The bathroom also has the washer/dryer there. The wallpaper in the room was removed and fully painted in 2022. This room offers beautiful views of the ocean - fall asleep to the sounds of the waves!
The second bedroom has a queen size bed and smart flatscreen TV with xfinity. Both lamps have USB ports built right into them for easy charging. This room was freshly painted in 2020.
The third bedroom has two twin size beds and a flatscreen TV with a Google Chromecast to cast video to it and xfinity. Both lamps have USB ports built right into them for easy charging as well.
The kitchen is spacious and stocked with plenty of items needed for cooking. Includes a Keurig and regular coffee machine, waffle iron, small grill, shaker, blender, mixer, plenty of pots/pans, dishes, glasses, and more. Has a two person island seating.
The dining room set for 6 purchased was purchased in 2020 with 4 chairs and a bench.
The Living room has a new comfy sectional purchased in 2020 as well. There is a console stocked with a variety of books and games, and a new 65" smart flatscreen TV. Relax on the couch while overlooking the ocean!
The balcony has a table and 4 chairs and recently added a chaise lounge chair with small table for relaxing.
There is a convenient electronic keyless entry system for the condo. The code will be provided prior to your arrival.
There is a reserved parking space under the building, so your car stays cool in the summer months and is very close to the beach.
No pets or smoking allowed inside or outside the condo.
We only rent for 7 day weeks from Memorial Day through Labor Day - Saturday to Saturday. No mini weeks. Weeks outside of the season can be rented for 2 nights minimum.
Linens (Sheets) & Towels are NOT included.
Sea Colony Recreation Fees payable directly to Sea Colony upon arrival. You will also pick up your parking pass when getting your badges.

The condo was clean and the perfect size for us. The owner was friendly, fast to respond to questions, very detailed-including pictures-about the condo, and good with reminders of what to do for check in.

Over all our accommodations were lovely. You can tell the owner takes pride in her property. We found some areas that were not well cleaned. We notified the owner and she showed great concern and offered to send someone immediately.
