Located in the historic carriage house is the Loft—a fully equipped apartment with historic architectural features. The Loft features 2 full bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double bed, and a shared full bathroom. The living room is incredibly spacious with a pull-out sofa bed. The dining room comfortably seats six people, and there is a desk for work. The kitchen is well stocked with a full-size stove, oven, and refrigerator. A full array of cooking utensils, pots and pans as well as table settings, is available. A traditional drip coffee maker with coffee and condiments is included. High-speed internet and a Smart TV are included. There is one on-site parking space, with nearby street parking for additional vehicles. The Loft is located just two blocks off the main street in Historic Kennett Square. A leisurely stroll will take you to locally owned restaurants, boutique shops, craft breweries, and more. Located just 35 minutes from Philadelphia airport, we are close to Wilmington and Newark DE, and Lancaster, PA. Our local must-see attractions include Longwood Gardens, Brandywine River Museum, Winterthur, and the Brandywine Battlefield. Downtown West Chester, with its vibrant food scene, is less than thirty minutes away. The Loft is located on the 2nd floor of the Carriage House and requires stair access. Combo washer/dryer is availble in the Loft.

Great location, close to everything. Quiet in the evenings. Matt & David are wonderful hosts. This is our second stay with them but in a different unit and both were lovely. We would definately stay again.

What a great property! The VRBO was beautiful, very comfortable and has excellent interior design. Most everything in there is of excellent quality. The only thing that wasn’t excellent was the WIFI, it was spotty and slow but not bad enough to contact the owners about so unless you’re working online during your stay don’t worry about it. The surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful for walking and there are several great restaurants and coffee shops right around the corner.

This charming cottage is pristine! Beautifully maintained. Beautifully decorated with pieces that ooze warmth and home. Location is incredible. Coffee, shops and restaurants within walking distance-and there is an amazing local food scene here. A super short drive over to Longwood Gardens. Beautiful streets to walk on. A public park with a walking trail is a block away. Communication with the owner was timely and incredibly helpful. I brought my Momma and we met my Auntie to celebrate their April birthdays. They had a fantabulous time. 10/10 recommend. I’ll definitely be back!
