Property is situated in a quiet location away from the crowds and the centre, but just a short 10 minute walk to the lakeside. Large and spacious main bedroom. Very large terrace area (not overlooked) from where you can see part of Lake Bodensee. Parking on the drive of the apartment. Location of Ludwigshafen is a big plus, by being "close to everywhere". Both sides of Bodensee are easily driveable from this central location. Welcomes dogs (including leaving bowls, towel and dog treats. Strong Wi-Fi signal. Property owner exceptionally helpful and very quick to respond (in very good English) with various queries we raised.

Access to the second bedroom is across a common area (shared with another apartment). Sauna is shared with guests of another apartment. Access to the shared swimming pool requires walking by the terrace of the second apartment. The information clearly states the pool is shared, but be aware of the privacy of the other apartment users if they are not known to you. No microwave.

The apartment exceeded our expectations - and we have a lot of experience staying in holiday rentals. We travel all over Europe and stay in many different places, usually booked through Booking.com. Quite frequently we find that the accomodation described and the photos on the listing don't actually match/live up to the reality. This was certainly not the case with SeeZeichen Apartment, which we found to be true and accurate to what was offered. The hostess is absolutely fantastic. Right from the outset she was communicating advice about our stay, how to access etc. We had detailed information about the property, the vicinity, the local BodenSee card and much more. During our stay we felt we had complete privacy, but living in the same building we also had the assurance of assistance from the host at any time we might need it. (Which we didn't, as all information was available and extremely well organised!) We had a very special request which the hostess went out of her way to oblige, really went above and beyond. The apartment is just as described, very clean and comfortable. Lovely furnishings with great care and attention to detail. The bed is amazingly comfortable and with such a peaceful, quiet location I slept better than I have done in a very long time! Unusual for me to say this, but the water pressure in the shower was that intense I did not use it on full strength. Ordinarily weak pressure is something that is complained about! The bathroom is very large and a pleasure to use. Sauna room is great. Full instructions on operation provided. Additional toilet there with the shower. Although we didn't make use of the natural pool outside (I didn't expect such fabulous weather during our stay) we did see, rather enviously, the two other guests enjoying it in the evening. If we have the pleasure of staying here again I will certainly make sure I am prepared for the pool!
