The Elm Cottage is a bright and renovated vacation rental in the town of Frankfort, perfect for a family vacation or couples getaway!
Six guests can sleep comfortably with a queen bed in the first two bedrooms and two twins in the third. The cottage has one full bathroom which was completely renovated in 2021. A renovated kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you need for a home cooked meal, plus extras including dish soap, dishwasher pods, sponges, and garbage bags.
The property provides the perfect stepping stone for local destinations, with Frankfort Beach and Main Street just a mile away and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore a short drive. An outdoor shower provides the perfect spot to clean off after your adventure.
The shed on property provides many outdoor amenities including beach chairs, beach umbrellas, lawn games, two adult bikes and helmets, and a wagon to complete your trip!
After a long day in the sun, come home to a large backyard with a fire-pit to gather around or get cozy on the large sectional for a game night. Take a walk to downtown Frankfort and check out the shops and restaurants on Main Street!

This property is thoughtful and adorable. Perfect for two couples. Beds were quite comfortable. Very clean. Tastefully decorated. We had a problem with the internet that lasted mere minutes due the manager’s quick response time. Would absolutely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage had everything we needed, and it was the perfect home base for all we wanted to do. Some big pluses were the bikes, the close proximity to downtown Frankfort, and the deck off the back. Thank you!

We have stayed at many rentals and I will say the location is nice, the neighborhood is quiet and the house is updated. Just a suggestion for the owners is the cleaning service needs to pay more attention to detail. I had to wash the cabinet doors inside and out, the sliding glass door was not clean and had visible hand prints. The outside of the house could be cleaned and updated. Overall a good stay. Thank you!
