Great place to stay! The building keeps the traditional atmosphere you are looking for in a Black Forest town, and the location could not be better. Totally recommended.

Eigenaar Michael is bijzonder hartelijk, behulpzaam en meedenkend. Toch iets te eten op tafel toveren terwijl hij daar niet op voorbereid was, aanbieden van extra handdoeken als we in de rivier wilden waden, schaduw creëren op het terras; niets was teveel. In de buurt een kleine supermarkt en een goede plek voor een vers ontbijt, perfect!
De kamer was erg groot, maar wel erg verouderd (wat niet erg is) en niet op en top schoon (dan gaat het wel tellen). Hoewel het ons aan niets ontbroken heeft, komt de gegeven uitleg van de locatie op Booking niet helemaal meer overeen met de werkelijkheid. Zowel het hotel als Schiltach zijn een beetje vergane glorie. Mooi dorpje, maar niets te beleven. We waren er wellicht in het voorseizoen, maar de wil en inzet bij het dorp lijkt weg. Jammer, want het is er wel!
