About this house rental
This 5 bedroom, 8 bathroom, modern family residence on 1.8 acres has a 20-yard, heated salt-water pool and spa surrounded by majestic landscaping, creating privacy and a sense of seclusion while still being a short walk to the shops and restaurants in downtown San Anselmo and Ross.
There is a fully equipped guest house, and it is walking distance to the Natalie Coffin Trailhead which leads to Phoenix Lake and miles and miles of hiking and cycling trails. 20-minute drive to Marin Headlands for beach, surfing, hiking.
The modern residence is warm and inviting, with floor-to-ceiling windows that slide away to blur the lines between the indoor and outdoor spaces, creating an architecturally stunning indoor/outdoor living space. The living room opens up to a large outdoor firepit and seating area that extends to the pool and another fireplace outside the guest house. There are two outdoor dining areas and a bocce court. It is perfect for relaxing with family and friends.
The master suite is a separate oasis and includes a bathroom with a rain and steam shower, deep soaking tub, dressing room and adjacent sitting room. Three additional en suite bedrooms are located off of a large children's recreation lounge which includes a TV, foosball table, games and crafts as well as a computer sitting area and a printer.
The Chef’s kitchen is equipped with everything you may need and opens to a glass walled indoor/outdoor kitchen eating area as well as a family room which features a 100-inch television for family and friends movie/sports viewing. Adjacent to the kitchen is an outdoor BBQ.
There is a private, executive office on the main floor and a spacious home gym with a variety of equipment inclusive of Peloton, a mirrored wall, and barre as well as a bathroom with shower.
The guesthouse opens out to the pool and includes a kitchen and guest suite as well as a change room, additional laundry, bathroom and outdoor shower.
3 car garage and auto court with extra parking for up to 5 cars.
Pets are negotiable. Renters Insurance, weekly housekeeping and a security deposit will be required.
Available July 1 - Aug 31, 2024. Minimum stay is 1 month, but preference will be for a full, 2 month summer rental.
