Nice apartment - a good base for excursions at Côte d’Azur and the hinterland

We visited Juan-les-Pins in February, so the beaches was not the main attraction. At this time of the year it is rather the opportunity to go for longer walks in the Esterel mountains or along the coast, for example near Cap d’Antibes. Or to catch a train to Cannes, Antibes or Nice to visit museums, go shopping and experience various events in a bigger city. The sea view from the apartment and the balcony is magnificent, both on cloudy days and in bright sunshine. The kitchen and the bath rooms are well equipped, and we appreciated that the hosts provided us with tea bags, coffee capsules, tabs for the washing machine and the dishwasher etc.

We know that ‘one size does not fit all’. We found that the square head pillows in the beds were too big and too hard. A French ‘traversin’ would be a nice alternative for those with that preference. A written instruction to the television would have helped us to make use of all the options.

Some small changes in bedrooms would make this a much nicer place to stay. Shame as the location is excellent !

The location was excellent with stunning views across the bay. The kitchen, dinning, balcony, lounge areas are all connected and is small but a nice space.

Just some friendly feedback which would make this flat a much better experience: The 2 bedrooms; The ‘master’ bedroom is a tiny double bed! By standards in Australia this is pretty un- heard of for a master bedroom. The pillows provided were big square European type and no other options. The bed cover is not nice material that breaths so it leaves you sweaty at night or turning up the air con. So generally the sleeping was uncomfortable to share as a couple...., & we are average (medium build) size. The other bedroom has absolutely no curtain - just a see through sheer (net curtain) so sunlight is beaming straight in there in the morning at 5am! Not great for kids :/ (glad I wasn’t in there) and once again the aircon will have to work much harder to combat the sun/heat going through the window. A small cost to put something in for a high gain. The towels were very small for the showers - kids towels. Only 1 toilet if there’s more people staying it would be difficult :/

Great location, modern and well kept apartment with incredible sea views.

My one very minor comment here is the single WC just off the main living space. Not sure why another toilet couldn't have been fitted in one of the other bathrooms. The lack of privacy just slightly embarrassing. Really a very minor point though

Alles wie beschrieben, daher aufgrund meiner Auswahlkriterien zu dieser Jahreszeit und im Setup der Familie die richtige Wahl. Flair, Sonne, Infrastruktur ( Rest. / div. Boulangeries/ Shops in Laufnähe around. Ausflüge mit kurzen Wegen per Auto. Sonne von 09:30 bis Sunset. Netflix easy zu nutzen.
