About this house rental
The stunning new three bedroom villa is located on a hillside in Uzumlu Village some 15 minutes drive from the popular holiday resort town of Kalkan, and has been designed for maximum privacy around the pool., and the incorporation of an heated indoor pool and sauna makes this an ideal property for guests visiting low season when outdoor pools can be on the cool side.
The ground floor accommodation consists of a spacious open plan lounge / kitchen / dining area which opens directly on to the pool terrace. here there is a generous sized pool , some 9 x 4 metres, depth 1.5 metres, and a childrens pool area . The pool terrace is obscured from outside the property and has a variety of areas for guests to spend their time, including an al fresco dining area with adjacent BBQ, a comfortable seating area, an infants play area, plus swings.
There is also a cinema room and sauna on this floor for the enjoyment of our guests, and a communal bathroom, adjacent to one of the double bedrooms.
The other two bedrooms are on the upper floor. The master bedroom opens on to a large balcony area which can be enclosed by glass on cooler days but is normally open air. Here guests can enjoy the panoramic views across the Xanthos valley towards Patara Beach. The master bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bathroom with very large jacuzzi , and also has access to the good sized indoor pool. This pool can be heated low season for an additional 1250 Turkish Lire per day, payable on arrival at the villa. The maximum temperature the pool can reach is between 22-28 degrees centigrade depending on the ambient air temperature.
The third bedroom is adjacent to the master bedroom and contains a double and one single bed. This also has a luxurious en-suite bathroom.
There is no public transport to this area and guests choosing to stay would really need the use of a vehicle . There are some local restaurants and grocer shops which deliver free of charge.
PLEASE NOTE: The nightly rates shown are based on a minimum of 7 nights occupancy. Accordingly please note that for reservations of 5 nights or less there is an additional charge of 2000 Turkish Lire for cleaning of the villa , payable in cash on arrival .

Having stayed in many different villas in Turkey I can honestly say this was a first for us. First impression was the front driveway was a mess with rubbish and weeds and photos made the pool area look far bigger than it actually was. The inside was clean enough but we had to provide some basics like tea towels, dishcloths, mugs, glass tumblers and told to provide a grill for the BBQ if we wanted to use it. One of the rings on the stove didn't work and with cracks in the walls and peeling paint a little TLC was required. Tiles missing in the pool, loose slabs in the patio area and dirty outdoor cushions. We went to the agency office when the linen change did not happen on the agreed day and time to see what was happening. We found out that the pool man was sent to wrong villa for the first week as was the lady who was to change our linen, she eventually showed up at 6pm. However she had not brought enough to change all the beds so she had to come back the next day. We waited in for her and by lunch time we had to ask if she was indeed coming as we wanted to go out. She had been and left them outside as she had knocked and assumed we were still all asleep when there was no answer, so we changed the last two beds ourselves. The maid service only covered a change of linens there was no cleaning provided. There was no information booklet to proved useful info so we had to work out how a lot of the appliances worked. In all for a holiday villa it wasn't one to write home about.
