Casa Punta Brava

Aunque la entrada al piso engaña, si las fotos del interior parecen de ensueño, la realidad la supera con creces. Todo super limpio y espacioso. Las habitaciones estaban increíble, sobre todo la que tenía vistas al mar, que era insuperable. Los baños totalmente acondicionados, con todos los productos de ducha necesarios. La cocina grande, totalmente equipada. Pero sin duda alguna, lo mejor de la casa es su gran terraza y las vistas al mar. Los atardeceres allí son impresionantes. Por supuesto, Juan Carlos, el mejor anfitrión. Nos ayudó a subir las escaleras con las maletas, que no pesaban precisamente poco. Siempre atento a nosotros, dándonos recomendaciones, y atendiéndonos con la hospitalidad y amabilidad tan propia de nuestros paisanos canarios. Sencillamente fue una experiencia sin duda para repetir.

Excellent place to stay! The location is outstanding, right on the waterfront and just a short walk from Loro Parque and Playa Jardin. The apartment was recently renovated, clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, and the beds were very comfortable. The real highlight of these apartments is the spacious terrace with its breathtaking view and great sound from the ocean waves. The sunsets from there were simply spectacular. A big thank you to the host for the warm welcome, meeting us personally, helping with our luggage, and always being available whenever we needed assistance. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing apartment, parking nearby, amazing host who gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, view for one million

- The view from the terrace was fantastic! There was a table with a sun umbrella, where we had lunch and breakfast. - There was a very nice beach close by. - It was rather quiet except for the sea. - Very close to Loro Park. - Puerto de la Cruz city centre is within walking distance. - Lidl supermarket was ~18 minutes away by foot up the hill (but down the hill on the way back)).

- There are 4 bedrooms in the apartment. However, only one (the one facing the sea) is suitable for sleeping. Other three don't have proper windows, they're actually facing a very narrow well in the building, which always had bad sewer smell, so you couldn't keep the windows opened. And even if you do, we tried to open all the windows, including the terrace, there is no airflow in those 3 bedrooms. As a result, despite the large number of bedrooms, one of us had to sleep on an uncomfortable couch in the living room. - The description mentions air conditioner. There is one indeed, however, it's not in the bedrooms, but in the living room, so it didn't help to cool down any other rooms, the ones where you would sleep. - The renovation in the flat looks nice in the photos, but is cheap at a closer glance. Door handles were falling out, doors themselves were scratching the floor, some wouldn't close properly. - The building itself is quite old. We consistently saw big cockroaches in the apartment at night. It was disgusting and distressing. We wanted to move out, but decided not to as we could not get any refund. The host tried syringe and insecticide, but it didn't really work, they came back. The building and stairs outside of the apartment were full of them too.
