About this house rental

El Corredor Country House is located in Cabornera de Gordón, a village known for its cuisine and cured meats, which you can sample at its excellent restaurants. In the village, you can also visit the 16th-century Church of San Juan Bautista and the Fuente del Fraile, a spring with water rich in magnesium.

Located right in the heart of the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve, it’s an ideal area for nature tourism, with numerous mountain trails in the surrounding area. Its 100% rural setting is perfect for hiking and photography enthusiasts, and nearby activities include cycling, 4x4 driving, quad biking, or horseback riding, mushroom hunting, rock climbing, caving, canoeing, rafting, and even culinary and wine-tasting tours.

Its location makes it easy to visit various points of tourist interest, such as:

Valporquero Caves. In the heart of the León mountains lie these karst caves, where numerous formations of great beauty have been created. Traversed by a stream, the caves feature a 1-km trail and seven chambers where visitors can admire stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones, and columns of varying hues and luster in a marvelous natural setting equipped with a variety of amenities for a pleasant day out. 35 km away
