Tranquility Trail at Suncadia Resort

Lovely home, perfect for our large gathering of 3 families with kids. There was enough room for everyone to be comfortable, each set of parents had their own room and the kids all had a blast sleeping together in the bunk room. Loved that each room had it's own full bathroom so plenty of privacy and no waiting around for one to be free, which was amazing after returning from the beach and having to wash everyone up afterwards. Kids enjoyed the bikes available for use, one had a flat tire that we couldn't figure out how to pump up so weren't able to use. Lots to do in the area, house met our needs perfectly during our stay to unwind and catch up.

Downside was the house wasn't clean when we arrived. We were notified we could check in early around noon but we had prior plans so still came later, honestly, they could have spent the extra time to clean more. I've seen others with similar reviews for this property regarding cleanliness, so I would probably suggest getting a new cleaning crew if you're paying for their services because they're only partial cleaning the house. It didn't look like the place was properly sweeped, dusted or vacuumed. There was dirt and debris on the floors and carpet and cobwebs in some common corners. I actually spent the first hour vacuuming the entire house, stairs included, when I got there since we had young kids, I would have mopped too but couldn't find all the necessary cleaning items for that... Or I guess I could have just used hot water since there was a mop and bucket but I was honestly tired after all the vacuuming! Kitchen also didn't have enough big serving bowls/plates, luckily we anticipated this and brought our own disposable trays knowing we'd do a lot of cooking for our large group. Despite this, I've seen worst, so we'd still recommend this house if you don't mind doing a little cleaning when you get there (or hopefully things would have improved by then!)

Walking distance to the Portal restaurant and the spa was great. Beds were comfortable, and the house was pretty. Everyone loved that their bedroom had an ensuite bathroom. Parking was easy. We walked across the street and had cocktails at the Portal the first night and the gals walked the path to the spa for massages the next morning.

Cleaning crew seemed to have overlooked floors and kitchen counters. It was clear that the living room carpet had not been vacuumed, stairs didn't look like they'd been vacuumed in awhile, the kitchen floor was not clean (we had black sock bottoms), and our arms stuck to the kitchen counters when we leaned on them. The glass coffee carafe was missing the lid and was cracked on the bottom. So, the first morning we held a fork to the brewing toggle and used a saucepot to catch the coffee. Turns out the pot had recently been used for something with garlic & onions so our coffee was, well not very good. It was handled very quickly when we reached out to the property manager and we had a new pot the same day, so we felt that resolution response time was good!

Need a couple more large mixing bowls/salad bowls And hand soap for kitchen. The kids bunk room had no top sheets on the beds as well as sleeping pillows. There were only the pillow shams.
